Today is gonna be the day that they're gonna throw it back to Elanga
By now, Elanga should've somehow realised what Elangas gotta do
I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do about Elanga now

And backbeat, the word is on the street that the fire in Elangas heart is out
I'm sure Elangas heard it all before, but you never really had a doubt
I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do about Elanga now

And all the roads we have to walk are winding
And all the lights that lead us there are blinding
There are many things that I would like to say to Elanga
But I don't know how

Because maybe
Elengas gonna be the one that saves me
And after all
You're my Elanga

Thats really good

He's a pure pace merchant and is basically useless in a game like this as he has almost zero guile. Against defensive teams we should be starting Murphy, Elanga should only be starting against teams that play higher up the pitch.

Really ropey performance that, like.

He certainly hasn't made much of an impression so far but I can only put my faith in the manager. We chased him for absolutely ages so I can't believe he's really this poor.

He's had some brilliant performances to date, but also some poor ones. Today was definitely the latter.

Not all of our signings will hit the ground running. We've seen Gordon and Hall take time to get up to speed and learn what Howe wants from them.

Knowing what we're like, he'll no doubt get written off and hounded in some quaters, but very few players fail to progress under Howe in the medium to long term.

Brilliant is a bit of an exaggeration mind.

Oh aye  it was just watching that first half it was something that keep coming back to me.

Both Elanga and Gordon for how much time on the ball they're getting are simply not playing well enough to command that level of usage.

Not entirely their faults tbf, someone has to give them ball to begin with but it was frustrating seeing them have so much of the ball and not really providing any impact.

All he needed to do was come in and be better than Almiron. Simple as that.

For £55m my expectations aren't that low like. I think Elanga will prove useful in time but my mind does stray to players like Estevao at Chelsea, Semenyo at Bournemouth.

Hopefully Elanga can progress cause he seems like a good kid and fits the group.
