I didn't think he was man of the match and found myself being frustrated with him more often than not, a view that was shared with the company I was in.

I do think some of his deliveries were superb and he's going to be a very effective player for us. He's electric, that's for sure.

His ball control isn't great. Ends up giving away throw ins and frees too many times. He hasn't looked overly sharp so far. I'm sure he will improve though

I think he’s going to be an effective player for us in time. Will get his goals and assists.

Just how I rate footballers particularly wingers - I’ll probably never be a massive fan overall due to the touch and close control.  But Under Eddie his output can go to the moon. He’s clearly got loads of talents and his delivery on the run is excellent.  I want to see more of his two footedness.

I can see he’s got a lot to work on in terms of the system. I don’t think hit fitness is Eddie levels yet either and he doesn’t get back fast enough yet.  So on the ball I assume there’s a lot for him to learn too.

Sidenote: I would’ve loved to have seen Minteh develop under Howe.

I thought he showed he is technically a better player than Murphy. Some nice 1st touch lay offs. He defo passes the ball better. Murphy does cross very well though.

Want to see both Elanga and Gordon (who I thought was excellent) come inside and run off Woltemade. Our FBs can provide the width.

Minteh looks more gifted, and he's really starting to blossom this season. He's filled out a bit as well, looks a powerful player now.

Against that, Elanga has more pace, and that terrifies defenders. Howe has been after him for a long time so he must believe he can hone his talent further. Personally I'm not sure you can develop someone's natural touch and decision making that much, but I'm not a coach.

Agree with this.  Touch wise I think Gordon is the best we have on the wings.

Agree.  It’s the runs he makes and decisions I think Howe can improve and with that will come more confidence.

He’s always going to be the type of winger that needs to run into a lot of space to beat a man and be limited against a Lower block.  But with Howe he’ll learn when to just whip it in nice and early.

Agree Minteh looks a gifted player. In the final third he can be great 1v1, has a great delivery off his left  and shows great composure infront of goal and the technical ability to match.  He’s a proper final third in player. The rest of his game is still pretty raw and he doesn’t suit Brightons side to side play.  Get him into Howe’s up and at em teams.

It's funny (kinda) that we had to sell Anderson and Minteh because of PSR, but we were then able to spend more than that in order to buy their replacements in Elanga and Ramsey. By funny I mean bullshit.

I did wonder when we signed that while he’d be great on the counter attack how he’d do when trying to break teams down at home, not great on this evidence.

I thought he would be Gordon level technically but he’s a level below from what we’ve seen so far.

Plenty of time to come good. Maybe it’s a bit of nerves.
