I don’t think we’ve played bad.

Their goal was good, we're mostly sticking to our plan but we lack depth and or quality in key areas. Expected to get fucking battered.

Not sure what our plan B is 2nd half.

Will be more of the same. Would like to see Osula get a chance, not Gordon’s fault but him through the middle isn’t the answer.

Only caught in from 25 minutes so what I saw was a bit of a non-contest but good to see a bit of momentum towards the end of the half.

Only real saving grace is we escaped going two goals behind after our heads dropped.

Technically still in the game but feels very unlikely that we're getting owt from this.

Cant really complain about the performance, it is just that we look a bit toothles upfront. Well we dont have a striker so you can expect that. Few good openings but just could not make the right pass.

We're lucky only to be 1 down i think. I feel Murphy has been our best player so far, but he still has no end-product so that is a pretty damning indictment of us.

Just too many individual players screwing up the final pass, even though as a team i think we have worked reasonably well. Lucky for us Gundogan is playing like Jack Colback or it might have been a couple of goals from him.

Good shape for most of half, but as half wore on, we got more tired and the gaps and mistakes started to happen.

Bit concerning we didn’t even create one clear chance with that energy at the start.

Thought that was a good performance, and our best half of the season so far, just a shame we're playing the best team in the world and one moment I'm lapse of concentration and they're ahead.

Attitude, desire, effort faultless. Also a masterclass from Eddie. Won't be too harsh on Trippier because he's been superb. If we'd had Isak we'd be winning.

Also, just perform like this every week we will have no worries.

Unimpressed with Tonali today.

Always looks like more of a transition player than anything else. Great at quick one touch passes, but doesn't really sit deep enough to be a 6, and doesn't carry the ball like you would want from an 8.
