Decky Posted Saturday at 15:40 Share Posted Saturday at 15:40 Another difficult game, these are currently sitting 4th as it stands today. Have to be on it again.
Decky Posted Saturday at 16:53 Share Posted Saturday at 16:53 (edited) Beat West Ham 3-0. They're playing with serious confidence. Edited Saturday at 16:54 by Decky

TRon Posted Saturday at 16:59 Share Posted Saturday at 16:59 I want to see us set up hard to break down, no gifts early on. If we don't concede, I think we come away with all 3 points.

Gallowgate Toon Posted Sunday at 09:02 Share Posted Sunday at 09:02 (edited) Pope Tino Schar Kelly Hall Tonali Bruno Willock Gordon Isak Joelinton I felt a lot of the ingredients yesterday were a better makeup for a starting away side, mainly the pressing energy we could surround Isak with. It really helped to consistently set the tone and has a good balance to it. Forest have real pace in their attack so I'd be looking to bring Kelly in to help with that. And as good as Longstaff was, we're likely going to have a more equal share of possession. Tonali just has more in his armoury to help that situation. If MGW is the starting 10, maybe swap Bruno for Tonali. It should be a good, tough game. Edited Sunday at 09:02 by Gallowgate Toon
Yorkie Posted Sunday at 09:06 Share Posted Sunday at 09:06 They're having an amazing season and flying. If it wasn't for the fact we've done them there two years on the bounce, I'd say I'd bite your hand off for a point. That would still be a solid result though, ahead of the six available from West Ham and Palace.

SteV Posted Sunday at 09:54 Share Posted Sunday at 09:54 Their home form (at least results wise) has been a bit iffy tbh. P5 W2 D2 L1 Only beaten Palace and West Ham who have both been fairly shite. Drew with Bournemouth and Wolves. Lost to Fulham. Tbf the only one I’ve seen was the Palace one, which they probably did deserve to win, but was surprisingly end-to-end, and ultimately took a goalkeeping error to get their goal. Pilko Posted Sunday at 10:16 Share Posted Sunday at 10:16 If we can take the two performances we've just posted at home onto the road, we've a great chance of getting something here. If it's the usual away from home muddle, I fear we'll get beat. Forest seem to be a good side with their tails up so I can see us getting a draw here. 1-1 with the inevitable Wood goal assisted by Anderson for them. Andy84 Posted Sunday at 11:13 Share Posted Sunday at 11:13 We’re the better team, but our away form certainly needs improving. Feel he’s getting there with working out our best side and the right balance in midfield. If we can get this right for this game no reason we can’t get a positive result

There won't be any complacency about us being the better team. We will have to earn anything we get with sheer hard work and concentration for 90 mins. They've done us enough times down there for us not to take them lightly.

Ronson333 Posted Sunday at 11:34 Share Posted Sunday at 11:34 Win this and our season is right back on track. Would put us firmly in the top four mix, with a home QF against Brentford to come.
Doctor Zaius Posted Sunday at 19:54 Share Posted Sunday at 19:54 Desperate for a win and a good performance away from home. As good as we were against Arsenal, getting results against good teams at home where we cede possession and counter press has never been an issue. Playing away from home has, for the over a year now. Having said that, these are flying. A front four of Elanga, MGW, Hudson-Odoi and inexplicably Chris Wood is very dangerous. A draw would probably be a decent result. andycap Posted Sunday at 19:56 Share Posted Sunday at 19:56 We will smash these like as long as we get a competent ref. All the foul throws and niggly challenges need stopped.
