Performance hasn't been that bad, but as usual we're taking too long to do anything in attack, our set pieces are the worst in the league, and our defence is soft. The ref is a complete joke as well, so a lovely day on the road so far

I think we’ve played quite well like. Not sure what game you guys are watching.

I disagree. We've played very well.

They are no mugs defensively. Just a matter of time though.

We are controlling things and getting into really decent positions.

Just need to be careful of getting caught on the counter.

And then of course there's Anthony Taylor ...

Howe can get away with playing the likes of Longstaff and Gordon when we are the weaker side and need lots of running. But the second we need some technical ability, those sort of players just get in the way.

Not sure I can be bothered with years of this kind of team. Needs to evolve before too long.

Yes.  Have you never seen a Nuno team before?

Not in any great detail, no. Well, it's the most effective tactic against us this season, so stands to reason we'd have a tough time here.

We have been awful going forward again. We must be one of the lowest scoring sides in the league surely ?

Our set pieces are a disaster! I’ve never seen such an ineffective physically imposing team.

Think we're just playing straight into their hands here.

Aimless crosses into the box which are easy to clear, too slow in the build up and allowing them to counter attack. Slowly losing our heads too

Can't see us scoring

That free kick was criminal. We are so shit at set pieces and just not learning / improving.

Same issues as we’ve seen for past 18 months when away. Mistakes, and no idea on how to break down a side who are men behind ball.

Willock only bright spark.

Edit: And Hall who’s been immense again.

Fucking frustrating. We've played well, if we were still 0-0 I'd be happy with that and thinking we're showing an improvement in our away performances.

The standard of referring man. Makes you question what the point of even caring is when the top referees in the country are so demonstrably shit at their jobs. Doesn't matter if you play well, some blind twat in yellow will let them get away with bloody murder. Yates should have been off twice in 45 minutes, and the corner that led to their goal was a goal kick.

VAR scared to overturn anything and make their shit mate look as shit as he is.

Very well is a stretch imo. We've been passable at best imo.

Got a £50 million Italian international on the bench that he either doesn’t know how to utilise properly or refuses to.

I don’t think we’ve been too bad tbh. But we’re not exactly forcing the issue just yet either. The two Anthony’s have had mares (AG10 and Taylor) and Yates should have been off. Oh , and Willock def should have had a pen. Probably should bring Gordon off for Barnes let the man save us again.

Immensely frustrating. Playing well but not moving the ball quickly enough at Forest's end of the pitch. The couple times we've shared a quick pass or two, we've come close, but there hasn't been enough of that. Tonali might help where that's concerned.

Goal was a fucking gift. Ref wrapped it and we put the bow on.

Forest have nailed the counter-attack game with infuriating competence. Someone better than Elanga in there and they're probably two up.
