ponsaelius Posted Sunday at 15:03 Share Posted Sunday at 15:03 Honestly think the wide areas are our biggest issue. When we kind of fix one side, the other looks off. It's frustrating and isolates Isak even more considering the flat midfield 3. Can only blame recruitment tbh - how can it be so hard to find a right sided player. If we are being honest Bruno's been way below that level we saw at the start for a long time. Agreed. Tbays the major difference between last season. Gordon Isak and Bruno aren’t at the same level. David Edgar Posted Sunday at 15:04 Share Posted Sunday at 15:04 We need to do like we did against Brentford a little while back. Get Barnes on to play on their backline with Isak and sacrifice the midfield a little. If we play the same system but just make the odd sub, it'll be another 90 this season without a goal for us. Unless we get lucky or Notts Forest drop a clanger. Here is hoping.

It isn't hard, we just aren't as clever as we think we are.

That's why you can't rely on one player to score all your goals.
Cf Posted Sunday at 15:05 Share Posted Sunday at 15:05 Willock needed to hit that. We generally just lack that cutting edge and can be a bit ponderous.
Smal Posted Sunday at 15:05 Share Posted Sunday at 15:05 don’t get Joelinton on the right, mind. Him playing wide is all about the relationship with Willock. Not sure what he gives us out there now.
