Great win that. First half, mixed bags, 2nd half, whatever Howe said, put a rocket up them and we were unplayable for vast majority of it. Gordon only player who had a less than 7/10 game.

Guy needs to find his form in final third.

This was all totally fine

It's actually worse in motion as the still pic could make it look like maybe Longstaff kneed it away a smidgeon before Yates came in.

1 point behind 3rd going into the internationals. Would like to not have internationals with our current form, hopefully we can keep it going after the break.

Great day for us today and other results have gone our way.

League being pretty competitive this season hopefully the first 6/7 games were our blip and we can push on from here.

Europe taking it's till on villa just like us last season. Fulham and Forrest doing well but surely not long term competition. Be interesting to see what manure can do I'm sure the wheels will fall back of soon it was only Leicester at home who were literally the best opponent they could have.

Brighton I would say our biggest competition over the next 6 games with their run in. As most of the top 8 teams play eachother.

I see nuno was full of praise for us today which is refreshing from the tosspot arteta.

Really like Nuno as a manager, think he’s highly underrated.

Really like having bench options.  Throwing Willock/Tonali into things as well as Barnes and hopefully Wilson to come.  Even Almiron would have been useful in the scenario that transpired towards the end of this game. 1-3 down you wouldn't want him breaking on you.

Yates is a fucking disgrace of a player. How does he get away with so much shit? Wasn't it something like 10 fouls against us in this game last season and he didn't even get a yellow? Thug cunt

Maybe, although Milenkovic used to regularly get exposed for Fiorentina. They both benefit playing in a side that sits deep and breaks.

I'll bow to your knowledge of Serie A. They've both looked good when I've watched them in the Premier League.

After play on from the Longstaff tackle and then Yates went through Gordon (?) (after they got the ball back and then we did) I really thought Taylor was going to give him two yellows. Unbelievable.

Clarify the sequence of play.

I actually think the players who are having time away with Howe in Saudi will have a refresher, players like Gordon going to England might be what he needs too.

Think this is the most liked post I've ever had on this forum

Ryan Yates is a scum football hooligan.  He shouldn't be gracing the football pitches of the Premier League.  All he did throughout the whole game was foul and cheat.  He must have grabbed Bruno at least three times around the neck and head.

I think this is the first game of the season where i felt like we've won convincingly, good performance all around even in the first half when we were trailing.

Yep. Only iffy moment we had was when we equalised, then had the mindset of ‘let’s keep pushing people forward’ and we lost the ball with men forward, played wide where Burn was never recovering, but thankfully it was a weak full back who was the one running through on goal, not an Elanga / MGW. After that, we got a bit more tighter, and pummelled Forest without giving up the space again.
