Newcastle United vs. West Ham United: 25/11/24 @ 20:00 (Sky Sports)

Recommended Posts

West Ham are probably one of the worse sides in league. Them alongside Wolves and Palace probably been consistently the poorest sides. Current points over inflates them.

If we play like we did 2nd half against Forest, we’ll be 3/4 up by HT. Then it’s a case of how many do we want second half if we keep the tempo up.

5-1 win.

Also forgot it’s MNF. That’s a blessing for us, as it means Bruno won’t come back and be shagged by needing to play on the Saturday. Should have all fit and firing, with some time on training ground.

According to Phil Mcnulty in the BBC Q&A thing they do with him every week, he doesn't think Lopetegui will be getting sacked this international break.

Feel like this might be a bit like Southampton on the opening day where we expect a heavy, comfortable win but it might be a bit more nip and tuck. Still think we'll win but foresee a 2-1 with a late-ish clincher.

Obviously I'd love to be wrong, for everything to click and us to take advantage of an opponent in poor form and give them a hiding.

Is Wilson available for this? 😂

Confident of a home win for this, they look at 6a and 7s.

Nope it's the next next international break.

Long way off but I wouldn't be surprised to see Murphy back for this. He's the most natural for the right side, gives Gordon's hip issue a bit longer, and with both full-backs unlikely to appear for England would mean only Bruno and Isak coming back from actual playing-time international duty into the starting line-up.

I guess it depends on whether Gordon stays with England and gets any minutes/proves his fitness.

Why would they? He’s just started in the job with a load of new players. Was always going to be a transitional season.

I reckon Gordon plays.  But might even go Joelinton right and Barnes left.  Joelinton played on the right for a good hour against Forest, didn't he?  I'm sure they switched midway through the first half and he started the second half out there.  You'd obviously lose the Joe combo.  But you'd have a much better and more effective player on the pitch in Barnes.

Baring any injuries or international fatigue, it'll be Kelly for Burn, and then the same starting 11 IMO.

Agreed. If AG’s injury clears up. Hopefully have a stronger bench with Trippier and Wilson back.
