They might well win but in my mind the aura, the spell they've had over me as a fan for 30+ years is broken. STM
Normally I'd urge caution but I'm really struggling to see where Man Utd can get any joy against us. They will struggle stop giving us chances. They won't dominate our midfield. The only slight area, is dealing with their pace in transitions.

TRon
My only concern is us. If we have bought into the media hype that Man U are dead men walking, then we might have a problem. If it's the same hungry, confident Newcastle team of the last couple of weeks we win.

Expand Eddie won’t let that happen, and will take nothing for granted. Our run of form, new midfield and growing self belief should help. Old Trafford or not, Manure’s self belief and run of form is going in the opposite direction. An early goal for us and the crowd will be rattled and ready to turn! wormy
I can't deny that I sure do feel uncomfortable at the amount some have revelled in Man U's misery the last few weeks.

Andy84
Nervous for this. All this confidence, even from their fans that we’ll win, football just doesn’t work like that especially with our record there. christ
I was convinced we were going to smash them last year and we were flat as a fart. I’d snap your hand off for a spawny 1-0.
HaydnNUFC
Not confident at all personally, based purely off our record against the ‘big 6’ clubs away from SJP recently. Lost all of them convincingly last season, and have only won 1 in the last 19. Would love a convincing performance and win. AyeDubbleYoo
I’m confident but I don’t think we’ll ever shake the old fear against teams like Man Utd. Like I said before, based on all evidence we should win.

J7
Assuming we don’t do something stupid and get a man sent off, I won’t be happy if we don’t win this one. We’re on brilliant form and they’re as low as they’ve been in decades, with their captain out. We really need to be beating them.
Pixelphish
Don't even view this lot as a football club. Just a corporate entity and vehicle to sell a load of tat to people around the world. Hope we demolish them.
