Tottenham Hotspur vs. Newcastle United: 04/01/25 @ 12:30 (TNT Sports)

Was gutted we had so many injuries in the corresponding fixture last season, thought we could have won that. I was quietly confident about the Man utd game but kept my head down and tried to play devil's advocate, I'm also confident about this one, we're Postecoglou's kryptonite.

"If weather is shit saturday game might be called off. Not a bad thing tbh with our injuries. Play them later in season will fully fit squad"

Afraid. And so they should be!

We have the honor of this being the first match that Tuchel watches as England Manager.

Gordon, Hall, Tino, Solanke, Madison and maybe Archie Gray. Fair few for him to watch, so it's no surprise.

Plus it means he could easily get to the Brighton game in the evening if he really wanted to.

"Trippier is fine after coming off"

Trippier is fine after going down, getting back up, going off, getting Tino ready, Tripps to come back on and look like nothing has happened, to then being subbed 30 seconds later. Good news.

Pope is back on grass!!!! Interesting approach to overcoming an injury.

Well it does have medicinal benefits, TBF.  Might chill him out a bit and all.  Stop him punching everything.

Sounds like he won't play tomorrow.  But I was told Pope was hoping and aiming to be back for this game.  Did find it odd that a few journos were making out like he'll be back mid-late Jan, possibly later.  It didn't sound like the injury was too bad and he'd responded well to platelet injections and his treatment.

Just being without Schar is pretty big, I guess the defence will have to play quite simple and the midfield protect them carefully.

Very winnable like I said before, but much harder game than Man Utd.
