Agreed. Was a little nervy but the result is huge. Sets up Wolves and Bournemouth at home perfectly.

exactly this. on paper that was probably our hardest prem game until February.. and we’ve gone to a big london team and took 3 points ahead of the Arsenal game

Was always going to be difficult.

Reacted really well to the early goal.  Thought they mixed their game up really well with longer balls bypassing our midfield.

Second half, Joelinton was miles off it.  Didn't really understand the substitutions and why we waited so long.  Hope Eddie is asked about that.

Great 3 points though.

Know how to see games out again, disciplined 2nd half and still could have scored. We seem to be absolutely swamping teams first half but drop off 2nd but don't care as our shithousery is immense and we have won last 3 away games.

They were stronger 2nd half but does feel we purposely don't press as high up and they still couldn't do anything against us. Feels good being 13 clear of Man U and 11 clear of Spurs, now to attack top 4 in our next home games.

The contrast between that ET and the ET vs Liverpool is absolutely vile. There's no oversight, no fucking accountability. The cops investigate the cops and the game suffers as a result. Useless sacks of shit to a man. Absolute clown shoes.

Surely we have the technology now to keep a track of the added up time ... Even after the game if need be.

Botman would be bottom of the list of players I'd give MOTM today in all honesty. Very poor first 15 minutes and then did OK for the rest of the game. I really don't think he should have played today.

I thought he was great after the first 15. His passing his aerial dominance his stepping up to intercept the ball was very good.

Phew, missed the first 20 mins but we dominated what I saw of the 1st half and deserved the lead. We were playing some nice stuff.

Second half we just stopped trying to play and just booted it back to them all the time which was quite frustrating. That said, Gordon and Barnes' chances were maybe as good as any they created 2nd half. Generally we defended solidly & great to see Botman back. Wish we would be a bit more patient and confident on the ball to see games out, but we're looking tough and organised to break down so maybe just booting it away and sitting in a low block is the % play.

I try not to be too biased with officials' decisions but I did think they got the rub of the green with a few. That said that can happen away from home.

Wins vs Villa, Man U and Spurs, very nice. Now a run of winnable league games and a cup semi. Bring em on.
