That’s a mad system.

I think it’s probably to stop a situation whereby you get sent off in game you get knocked out in and get a three match ban.

Your club gets knocked out in the first game they play in each of the next two seasons and your ban is still active 3 years later, were it just competition specific.

Just catching up with the post match stuff. Tell me he didn’t blame the ball. [emoji38]

To be fair to him, the journalist asks him about the ball specifically and Arteta replies with "you just have to adapt". It sounds like the journalist is fishing for a headline.

I think it's just because red card bans are an FA rule and therefore enforced across all FA competitions whereas the accumulation of yellows is at the discretion of the individual competitions themselves.

So taking that as the average and Arsenal having 11 corners last night, 10% of the game was us waiting for them to take a corner

The way the game should be played. (according to them ) Nice of them to be guardians of the game.

Not to get too far ahead of ourselves but bus replacement on the weekend of the final would make getting to London a proper chew on.

Aye, think its Transpennine only to York aswell, so presumably then its a bus to Leeds then LNER from there - at least that was my understanding.

Can remember Kenny Dalglish complaining about the ball that Stevenage chose for the FA Cup game down there. A few days later it came out that Dalglish had actually endorsed it in some marketing a few years before
