You'd think that info would be easy to google but I couldn't find it anywhere :D thanks for clarifying. Just don't want any of the lads holding back and worrying about missing a final when we still need to perform in the 2nd leg.

That was absolutely incredible. The perfect, absolutely perfect, away performance.

I love this manager and this team more than any team we’ve had since I started supporting us back in 1993. Truly outstanding.

Jamie Redknapp was just saying how good our options on the bench were and that Arsenal just don’t have that at the moment.

Yeah. Thos youth players Jesus, Jorginho and Zinchenko are all shit and Longstaff, Almiron and Kelly are much better……

Tbf all 3 of them are shite

It was a performance which makes me think we are on the verge of something really special here.

We have 5 fixtures before the replay, predominantly straight forward fixtures.

They have 7 including Villa, Man U, Spurs, 2 in the CL and Man City 3 days before ours.

Is there a chance fixture fatigue for them may be overwhelming and they effectively rest better players for the return leg in order to prioritise other competitions?

They might throw in the towel against us you know.

You kinda want them to do well enough that they prioritise other comps but not well enough they fancy themselves to turn it around.

Inject the fucker

First half was even but we got the goal.

Second half we rode the wave and got another goal and sat back.

Job done.

Have to say, other than those set pieces and that one momentary lapse when Botman pressed a bit too high and Martinelli got in behind, I thought we were solid as fuck at the back. Their best chance came from a fluke deflection for the Havertz chance.

Without Saka and when Odegaard is contained they have very little creativity at the moment.

Worried when we went 5-5-0 with time left we were inviting unnecessary pressure, but Eddie got it right, they had nothing outside of set pieces and even then I started to doubt anything was getting past Botman and Burn and others putting their bodies in the way.

Mention for Dubravka aswell. Been a really good stint and will be sad actually if he does depart as this is the best spell he's had since when he originally signed. Although big shout to the defence for protecting him so well these past 7 games.

Their prick of a manager should be embarrassed that he's reduced a very talented, expensively-assembled squad to effectively play like a rugby team.

Also, I've never judged Declan Rice to be anything more than a good player. It's absolutely farcical squad management that he cost more than Tonali + Guimaraes combined (and then some) imo.

Thought Arsenal were worse tonight than Spurs were on Saturday. Particularly in the second half.

We were brilliant but it's one of those that could have went either way. Havertz and Martinelli both should have scored and they missed chances from headers. Hey-ho, that's the way it goes. I'd have been alright with a 1-0 loss tonight. 2-0 is dreamland.
