Solid D, think he could be a solid addition for a team in the lower reaches of the league, say an Ipswich or a Burnley if they come up.

He's a pure, 7 out of 10 player, that has no thrills but also has no clangers.

Surprised people are being as generous as a D when it comes to Taggart, especially when you consider Wilson got an E. Taggart is an obvious E , he was ok three years ago but since then has literally done nothing and when he has played looks slow, lethargic and unfit.

Small D for Matty T.

Difference between him and Wilson is that I could easily see Targett turning out another 3-4 seasons for some lower table PL team, Wilson I can barely see turning out another 3-4 games. Also Wilson has declined a lot more from a higher starting point whereas Targett has more gone from being quite good to bang average.

I actually think the opposite , I reckon Wilson will do more over the next few seasons than Targett . I reckon if you asked some of the top end championship clubs which player they would rather take now it would be Wilson.  It's such a daft debate anyway really as they are both well past their best.

Targett isn’t finished for me; he’s just a thoroughly mediocre PL LB.  He did a cracking job on loan, but he was a baffling signing.

Targett just barely scrapes home with a D rather than a D-

A nice simple one next: Alexander Isak. Let's enjoy spending a few pages gushing about our star man. (Not to prejudge the results or anything like)

It's funny when you click this post from the main page, and you see everyone giving him a D before you realise they're still talking about Targett.

Obviously an A.  If he's not an A, why even have the ranking available?

He’s our only A based on the definition rules.  Phenomenal centre forward, would have a chance of starting in any side in world football.

edit: probably could have done with an ‘S’ grade for actual world class, tbh

Stupidly good. For years we debated who the best since Shearer was, then this guy arrived and ended the argument very comprehensively. Fantastic player who has the potential to be the best we've ever had.

Ah aye the best player we've had in a generation, possibly ever, dependent on his length of stay, spookily good in just about everything he does both on & off the field, the lads cooler than penguin piss.

VVD wont fancy it again next Sunday, Isak has ripped him to bits plenty of times previously

A for me , those saying S, should maybe consider his availability/injury issues - and he does have quiet games

Those who are saying S are putting him at a theoretical top of the tree while you're putting him at the actual top of the tree with an A, you're both saying the same thing. Should you not be considering B for the same reasons?

I wondered if the availability thing would enter into anybody's thinking. I don't think he's been unreasonably absent personally

Poor at holding the ball up. Struggles to last 90mins, seems like his race is run after 70mins. Also struggles to be available for a full season so lacks durability. Question marks over his left foot finishing and bravery to put head where it hurts to score when it matters.

Other than that he’s excellent. So guessing that works out at a B.

Played 40 games for us last season and 31 for us so far this campaign without a backup striker to take the weight off him.
