For example a family of four one of the parents might queue the once on a couple of devices but want four tickets once at front of queue. Not as many people as you think use multiple devices. I got lucky in pot 6 for Wembley and when I went on I was queue number 8,700 odd. Bear in mind there was only 800-900 tickets up for grabs so only that amount of people could have been trying to buy tickets.

People wanting to go with Pot 6 fans from Pot 4&5 or higher would’ve increased the numbers. Also didn’t account for people just queuing to be nosy. Also Pot 6 was probably the biggest multiple device pot as it would’ve been the touts with the multi memberships.
Tsunami Posted yesterday at 19:42 Share Posted yesterday at 19:42 I've been speaking to someone involved in the organising of this (not from the club). They’re still working on what is and is not possible. I have been told that it’ll be well worth attending and I wouldn’t rule out some type of bus parade. They wouldn’t give any specifics but this bloke was buzzing, he will have seen what the club are hoping to do.

WilliamPS Posted yesterday at 21:31 Share Posted yesterday at 21:31 Honestly some people are just addicted to misery. Finally win a cup and its terrible as the club are arranging the wrong type of celebration? You don’t have to go if you don’t want to
Gottlob Posted yesterday at 21:52 Share Posted yesterday at 21:52 An unmitigated shambles, and I know that people will rightly say that it's not the fault of Howe or the players. But for me in the big list of things it puts the Carabao Cup behind our First Division trophy in 1993, with Howe behind Keegan and Isak probably behind Andy Cole given the latter's fine run-in and his hat-trick against Leicester. You don’t have to go if you don’t want to Some might argue "finally win a cup and I'm not able to go and enjoy this type of celebration". Just wanting any celebration to be the best it can be isn't being addicted to misery. Nor is it saying anyone is dissatisfied with the running of the club. There's just a strong feeling they've got this one wrong, but aye, in the grand scheme of things it's hardly a massive problem.

What a load of tosh just because they might not get on a bus, I certainly don’t remember the Keegan promotion from standing outside the civic centre, my memories are Grimsby, Barnsley, Notts County, Tranmere and Peterborough away with thousands of proper football lads watching a great team. Fenham Mag Posted yesterday at 22:00 Share Posted yesterday at 22:00 I’ve got a feeling many fans will be left feeling a tad sheepish when Sela and the club pull off an amazing show. They’ve not missed yet.
Wolfcastle Posted yesterday at 22:20 Share Posted yesterday at 22:20 Again though in 92/93 people were locked out and didn't get a chance to go to those games. Nothing more was needed beyond Leicester if you were there and for what its worth I didn't think much of the parade, photos came out dark as hell, but had to be there, would be more so for people who didn't get to go. 80 Posted yesterday at 22:31 Share Posted yesterday at 22:31 I'm hopeful everything will turn out great, they've generally been good about these things, but there's nothing wrong with people defending the city's interests if there's a sniff someone's trying to ration joy to only those who've bought corporate memberships. Don't know about the rest of it but that's asking a bit much
Checko Posted yesterday at 23:06 Share Posted yesterday at 23:06 (edited) Open top bus parades have an end of year feel to me. We've still got 10 games to go and a champions league place to fight for. After such a massive high it can be easy for following games to just feel underwhelming. Look at us after that PSG game for example. Nothing was going to live up to that high and games after just felt flat in comparison. Basically, I'm more concerned about over-celebrating right now, though obviously I sound like an absolute geography teacher for saying so. Edit: have a parade end of season if we really need one. AyeDubbleYoo
I mean, it really doesn't matter what happens now, we've won the cup. Personally I just always imagined them parading the cup through the streets. Hopefully that will happen, if not then I'm sure the event will be good. It's just not the ideal. Kanj
We’ve waited 70 years for a domestic cup, surely our fans can wait for the club to announce every single plan and/or the city too. Fuck sake it’s been a week guys. Just watch the content and talk to your mates about the match until then. Just like trippier did on Sunday, slow down lads. Slow down. Same. This whole carry on has now put the whole trophy win thing behind the 1:1 away to Grimsby in September ‘84 for me.
