So go back to your question. I don’t agree to make decision just based on generalisation, but I agree to identify potential risk because that’s simply maths. People from same region tends to have similar culture and lifestyle, grow up in similar environment. Another example I can give you is in China, particular province, due to diet (mainly marinated salty fish) the local residents tends to have the highest Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma rate across the region. I won’t say people from that province must bear this disease, however it’s definitely good for all parties that those people should have regular body check re their nasal conditions. If we were signing Lookman for £10m more, I imagine a lot of the skeptics would be far more enthusiastic. The two have very similar profiles, and in my opinion, Wissa is actually the better player and just a year older.
 

I also don’t think there’s a significant gap between him and Mbeumo- a player everyone would have understandably been thrilled about us signing-  and he went for twice the price. Yeah, yeah he’s like 3 years younger tbf but still.

This. There is absolutely an element of Wissa not being seen as a glamourous enough name by some people in here/on socials. For someone who will likely come in knowing he will be behind Isak, whilst still getting a lot of game time due to the sheer number of games we'll be playing next season, he is the absolute best option.
