48hrs? howay ffs.

If it's done and dusted by Tuesday we might see him against Liverpool. He won't start though. Eddie will start Gordon plus Wissa hasn't been training fully. I guess Eddie will assess him but couldn't see him starting in any scenario besides a Gordon injury

I would rather him play 45-60 minutes and then sub him out. No way can we start with a winger playing CF if we want any kind of chance

I would but Eddie won't.

Edit: Though if I was the manager we most likely would not be as successful

They may well be, but are Brentford? Or the players agents? Maybe not.

I was only being half serious and I know the journos are guessing half the time or using incomplete information.

But you would like to think that everything was done and it was just dependant on Brentford getting their replacement. What with everything we have read and us being so heavily linked and invested for the best part of a month.

It doesn’t feel like that at all and like we are going to waste yet more days, to get him in and training. But of course I could be well wrong and we get some proper movement today.

Yes I know, and I've been saying the same thing most weekends during this transfer window as well. It can't just be coincidence that we've heard nothing on a Sunday and very little on a Saturday during the window.

If Wissa is coming it has to be done in the next few days so he is ready to start against Liverpool. This is the Wilson replacement, it should have been done already ideally, but with Isak going on strike it's become imparative. We have not handled the striker search well IMO, we seem to be constantly surprised by events then playing catch up.

Even if he's signed 2 hours before the game he needs to start against Liverpool.

Gordon did well running around, but his best contribution was being so weak that he fell over and got Konsa sent off.

Really harsh on Gordon that , I challenge you to stay standing if someone grabs your shoulder whilst running full pelt

Proper strikers do it all the time. It was a foul and a red card, and in many cases that's better than a goal, but it was just the most Gordon thing ever.

It’s quite a different example, Gordon never gets clear of Konsa

I could go all day if you want?

The point is Gordon is weak as piss and excellent at buying fouls, and we got a red card through it. It's not much more serious than that.

I mean sure, I think we can all agree Haaland is stronger than Gordon.

to be honest I think Gordon was probably better off going down and getting Konsa sent off, given his finishing of late, I’m not convinced he would have scored.
