Can't say I'm shocked. Don't do your knee in and be back this quick. We're not going to see him untill late January, and that's if he doesn't suffer a set back at ACON, which giving it's a tournament with minimal games prior, probably do a muscle injury. And that's a best case scenario, probably expect it to come out by end of month he needs an op and he'll be back April/May if we're lucky.

He was a transfer where we needed a DoF. Dropping £50m on a 29yr old, after all the issues we had in past windows being close to PSR was a daft move that needed to be all hits from word go to justify it.

The arguement that he shouldn't be going to AFCON is obviously a ridiculous one. But equally DR Congo need to do better to protect him and not just chuck him in for every single game for 90mins. Hopefully they crash out in the group stage.

He'll be absolutely fine next season

Yeah but don’t you know he’s 29 years old? Practically a pensioner next season….

Easily one of the most NUFC things to ever happen, this.

What would be even more NUFC is Wissa getting back to fitness, actually playing a game for us and then Woltemade gets injured in that same game.

Lord Hindsight and Captain Itoldyouso types on here yet again.

Desperate to point out to everyone that they were right all along. Even though he is yet to kick a ball for us

I mean, this was obviously going to happen. As he’s basically a pensioner at 29, so injuries were inevitable, despite his superb injury record. Did I mention we overpaid and it’s a risk? We won’t see him until 2028 at the earliest.

Shite. Get rid.

Yep, like they did in September the absolute fucking melts that they are.

He came off after 62 minutes in their first game, then 75 when he got injured in the second.

And yet if he never got injured you’d never be posting this hindsight rubbish.

We got fucked by lady luck on this one, there was nothing predictable about it at all.

Who does he think he is? Wyclef Jean?

I dont listen to music on the radio, I stuck to my cd's of alternative rock so I've no idea what this joke means. I'm also happy to say that I couldn't name one single Taylor Swift song. I'll happily sing along to Nirvana, Oceansize, Soundgarden and Sonic Youth though.

What a nightmare this is for the club and player. He acts like a knob to get his big move and suffers a bizarre injury straight away. We overpaid and it could end up costing us in the end with no European football next season. We might have to loosen the purse strings in January for yet another more than capable striker, and we all know how hard it is to sign someone decent in January. Let's just pray that Osula steps up and has a breakthrough season.

I was always against signing an AFCON player for obvious reasons, but it is what it is.

Also, Wissa has had an impeccable run of good fortune avoiding injuries, but it only takes one for it to become a recurring theme. Fingers crossed it doesn't though.

On the plus side, I just saw my hero Andy Murray sink a great putt in the pissing rain at the Dunhill championship.

Wow, you can’t name one Taylor Swift song, that’s pretty cool man. Still, it must be lonely not having any women in your life at all.

I'm almost 50 and antidepressants have destroyed my libido, so I have little to no interest in the opposite sex. I've been married and have had several other fairly long relationships that I couldn't wait to get out of, nobody comes close to my ex wife, even though she totally done me over in the end. 13 glorious years and then... it hurts to much to talk about. The thought of another bloody relationship scares me silly to be honest.

"Football again ffs, can't we watch (insert tedious tv show)"

"Let's have an early night"

"Are you ready to meet my friends and family?"

"Aren't you too old to be playing videogames?"

"I'm ill, would you heat me up some soup and rub my feet please"

"What's that dirge you're listening too? Put some Celine Dion on please"

"You've been wearing the same clothes 3 days in a row"

"Nag whine nag etc"

Fuck that, I'll stay single thanks.

58, in a relationship with a woman for approx 33yrs, 2 daughters aged 26 and 21. Keen music follower, still gigging to new stuff occasionally and I can't name a single Taylor Swift song.
