I'd have him on the bench versus spurs just to get him back involved with match day squad.

Same here. He's surely fit enough to be ready to come on for a 10min run out if the chance arises.

He wont be going to AFCON. The club will have that quashed and rightly so.

If he’s playing for us by then, he will be going to the AFCON.

Unless he gets another ACL, he's definitely going to AFCON

Are posters not aware that the only mechanism to definitively avoid a call up is international retirement.

his country can call him up whenever they wish and if he decides not to go they can apply for him to be banned for the whole of the AFCON

Of course he’s going to go to AFCON, we knew that when he signed.

The injury is a major downer and no way should he go in November, he’s not fit.

Theres many, many others but I said weeks ago he wouldnt be going to AFCON and everyone ignored me.

Journalists have been reporting for weeks that the player was hinting at not going...

Anyway, its nice to have a gloat but ultimately its fantastic news for us all.

What an absolute LAD. Rotate him with Barnes and Gordon can fight it out with Elanga to give Murphy a rest.

Eh? Surely we will be using him as a striker.
