Primarily played LW in France with occasional centre forwarding and RWing. At Brentford basically covered both for a couple of years, squad role, not huge minutes, starting less than half the time. I did wonder about that a few days ago in this thread. Obviously he's not going to be ready to start, but a stint from the bench for 10-20 mins should be fine, and Burnley is the perfect opportunity to get him out there. He said he played 30 mins in a practice game of Wednesday and came through OK. To me it felt like he was saying ‘as long as he goes ok in training today, he’s on the bench’. Toney then Thiago. But Thiago got a ACL in pre-season or first couple of games. Brentford are ace at finding and developing attackers.
