Andy
Wish we didn't pay so much for him so I could've enjoyed his match winning goal last night
Erikse
I have a feeling that him and Joelinton could resurrect out season. I truly hope that they can both stay fit.
Newcastle Fan
Thought he played well today, some very good runs in behind their defenders which is something we were missing this season and was unlucky with the offside.
ChrisMcQuillan
Love his movement.
Optimistic Nut
I think he's key and been what we've missed all season. We'd be top 5 now if we'd had him since the start of the season. Edited January 4 by Optimistic Nut
TRon
Ironically, after he went off there were a few pearler deliveries which you felt he would have really jumped on if he was on the pitch.
toon25
Certainly that centre forward instinct we've missed. Those fucking draws v. Spurs and Villa man
Lush Vlad
I didn’t celebrate the Gordon goal. As I thought he was about 2 yards offside. Shows how good his movement is that he was barely off. Makes some great runs and his movement is good. Always lively and on the move. He does often look offside, mind. But that could just be a timing thing and getting used to his teammates. We’re hardly blessed with midfielders that will regularly find him.
McDog
Here is the thing, when his teammates get used to the timing of his moves/runs it really could click. Felt the timing was a bit off and always looked offside or close. Could really be something with work. edit: I see @Lush Vlad just made the exact point. stozo
Been really impressed by him so far. For me, he has to start against Leeds. Know that'll be 3 starts in 8 days, and I can imagine him being rested for that reason, but we are so much more threatening with him on the pitch. He makes the types of runs that Woltemade just doesn't.

I agree and would say just play him the first 45 vs Leeds but a half-time sub for wor Eddie is out of tae question for some random fucking reason. GOTONEW
There are loads of things in his game that are extremely promising. I think everyone's seeing it. He's going to be huge for us.
Stottie
Looks great, the player we bought. Like Harvey Barnes, you might have to pay more than you'd like, but you get something that is proven and just works. Him "just working" is of course due to him fitting the way we play. Early days and only one game, but Brennan Johnson also looked the player Palace bought. His rep at Spurs was "scores the odd goal but does nothing else". Let's see if Glasner can do something else with him.

Aye, considering Hall was having a bit of a turgid first half, on the ball and positionally at times, Johnson did nothing with any advantage he gained out wide and often sliced a cross or shot attempt out. As for Wissa, feed him and he'll score, he's a proper off-the-shoulder mover.

When Gordon scored he turned to me and said that's probably the worst goal celebration I've seen from the fans, they're hardly cheering! I just said that's because just about everyone there is expecting it to be disallowed. Tbh I thought it was more clear cut at first glance and then when you look more carefully he's actually less offside that Wirtz was yet his goal was allowed to stand! Aye, I was surprised by how close it was, in the ground he looked miles off and I was just about in line, I couldn't believe the lino didn't just flag straight away

HayDen Traces
Loved that touch and swivel he did late in the first half out to Gordon I think. Just one touch on the outside of the boot and he was off. He's a propper striker this lad.

Fak
No pre-season + a 3 month injury and he's came back and look way fitter, fresher and more "on it" than Isak has.

Aiston
Don't know what he was doing at the end like More minutes the better for him, don't think he's properly match fit at all yet(unsurprisingly).
black_n_white
One thing I would say is we look more like our usual selves going forward with this guy and Murphy on the pitch.
