There was a streamable in this thread (doesn’t work now). He twists and falls trying to chase the ball down in the box, it then cuts to him testing his knee by pulling his heel up to his backside. He then immediately lies down with his hands above his head.

 

If he’d ruptured his ACL he’d not have got up from the fall, there has to be a chance that he’s given it a pretty hard tweak. For some reason there was a load of it’ll just be cramp posts on here. Have to assume not many saw the footage.

 

Would just add that the way he was chasing the ball it looked like he was running on empty. Any injury was wholly avoidable.

Yeah I’ve just seen the video , happens in the 65th minute and he carried on until the 75th so there’s hope

I think at this point you have to fear he has a fairly serious injury. I might be putting 2+2 together and getting 5 but given they don’t know how serious it is yet and the fact he wasn’t here today would suggest that he has gone to see a specialist. And if he’s seeing a specialist you would assume the original scan doesn’t look great and they are taking advice on whether it’s a surgery issue or not.
