Ben
I can't understand why he wants Man Utd anyway, old tired run down club that used to be good but now are struggling with huge debt. They are the Sheff Wed of the EPL.
Newcastle Fan
They are just making things up now, we just need to fix our bid and he'll be ours.
wormy
These transfer bullshit merchants have well and truly jumped the shark this summer. Such tedious, repetitive nothingness. They really do need starved of the attention they live for.

Miss the days of seeing a rumour in The Chronicle or newspaper one day, then maybe a day or two later there'd be something new to update. Now, these pricks like Romano and Sky Sports News feel the need to provide updates constantly.
KaKa
I followed the Arsenal and Sesko drama a little bit, earlier in the summer. Something I took away from that is that Sesko and his agent have a great relationship with Leipzig. Unless clubs that are interested pay what Leipzig wants, I got the impression that Sesko would just stay there and not kick up any kind of fuss whatsoever. Arsenal were trying everything to pay less for Sesko to no avail. Instead they got Gyokeres to make a real stink at Sporting and insist on Arsenal so that Arsenal could then negotiate the price/terms in their favour. This is apparently the new "big club" dirt bag move. Get the player to say he only wants them, so they can then bully the selling club into accepting less. I think Man United have tried the same stunt here and it may have backfired. Surely Sesko would have come out and insisted on them by now, if he favoured them and wanted to give them an advantage in negotiations? But I don't believe Sesko and his agent are at all willing to do that to Leipzig. From the beginning of the week Romano has been saying that we are willing to pay both Sesko and Leipzig what they want, which is crucial for this deal to happen. On Friday night we hear from his homeland he has chosen us and then a bid the next day. I'm thinking we make those final adjustments to the bid and this thing could be all wrapped up. Wouldn't be surprised at all if we already had agreement with Sesko and his agent in line with the Slovenian reports, and so they're just waiting for us to agree with Leipzig too, before they confirm everything officially. Sesko and his agent are working closely with Leipzig on this whole thing. If either party isn't happy this deal is not going to happen. From the Man Utd side it seems they are not willing to pay what is being asked, similar to Arsenal, and so are trying to do the Gyokeres and Mbeumo thing and haggle the fee down. I read somewhere from our side their asking for a hefty sell on clause and we’re refusing what they’re asking but it didn’t say what that it is just insinuated it’s higher than your normal sell on. Also from Man U they really want hojiland in return but he so doesn’t want to go.
nufc4eva
If we lose our on this one then fuck it's been the most frustrating transfer window ever. Hopefully the club starts to find a different way and learns from this as clear any big target we go after the big 6 are also after and have the money and reputation to get them. We need to move earlier in windows and also be identifying a wider pool of players not on big 6 radar.

Just to follow on from my post before. @Ronson333 just posted the tweet further below on Romano in the Isak thread. You have to also wonder if Man United having failed to get Sesko to choose them and screw over Leipzig, then started "encouraging" these "journalists" to keep harping on about how Sesko prefers Man United and is waiting on them as a priority. In order to try and discourage Newcastle and put them off perhaps? There were even reports starting to do the rounds that we had pulled out of the deal, before that news then broke from Slovenia, and a bid followed from us the next day. Some very very very shady things going on with some of these clubs and these guys like Romano.
Thorpinho
I can’t find the post now, but didn’t Ornstein publish leipzig’s asking price? Was that what we offered, or have we attempted to get him for less?

Only caveat to the former is that Manure can offer more in wages. I feel they won't but figure it's worth mentioning. As for the Fiat Fucker spouting nonsense, especially the recent one: IF Šeško opens the door AND Newcastle make another bid then Man U are also ready to bid. He is in the pocket of Manure or simply playing to their larger fanbase. It behooves the slimy prick to help draw this out. simonsays
I'm still choosing to believe the Slovenian paper. Sesko has agreed terms with us and it's just down to finalising terms with RB. None of the UK 'journalists'had any clue what was happening until the Slovenian article came out. I don't think man utd have the funds in place to compete right now. Even if Man Utd can offer more wages, I'm not sure it matters, unless they are willing to satisfy Leipzig's demands without any haggling. Sesko and his agent aren't going to act in their own interests to the detriment of Leipzig, from what I've seen. If they were I'm pretty sure he would be at Arsenal already. Mole
Downie said we're still negotiating over the details of the sell on yesterday iirc. I suspect it gets done. The real question (which has been the case all along ) is if Man U eventually stump up the cash to make that same offer too. Most reports have said he is undecided on where he wants to go so I don't think it's as cut and dry as they definitely will get him. Sibierski
I mean if it’s as simple as “just need to adjust our payment structure”, then it’s done today and he’s with the team on Tuesday when back in UK. But I don’t believe it’s simple as that and we’re being played and nothing will change today. Eddie going to be returning back after the tour and all we will have added is another GK, on loan. He’ll be turning up to training like

The decision to make him a central midfielder post-injury was bizarre and he was simply awful from then on. By the time he played for us he was absolute dog shit. Nothing more than a wreckless passion merchant and a yellow card collector. Cost us £21m in transfer fee and wages. Almost as big a turd signing as Owen, when you consider £ to return.
