Looks like he plays with his head down a lot. Get the feeling he would get found out a little in the premier league. Certainly not sufficient to keep us in the hunt for CL spots. Decent shot on him but would probably be asking for £80m+ aren't they?

Hate that we're being forced into selling our best player and needing to scramble around to see what's left around Europe now that the big clubs already had their picks.

If Isak does leave then we need this sewn up asap, quick feet and a rifle of a shot on him, think under Howe he could really be something special and at just 22 his ceiling is insanely high

Sesko hasn't progressed as he should. He was a really exciting prospect, it could be down to training but he did turn us down before to go where he is now when it would have been circa 30M, that would have been a reasonlable price.  We did sign Isak for 63M though after a less than stellar season though.

Pure copium but if we lose Isak but sign probably the hottest striker prospect on the continent and an experienced player who scored 19 in the PL last season, we've dealt with the matter very well tbh. Especially if Isak goes to Saudi and not a direct competitor.

Issue is they’re both asking for similar wages  which, it seems, we can’t accommodate.

Judging purely by the photo in that tweet he should last a good few years longer than...some other players do. Value.

More appreciation required.

Wages were partly the stumbling block for Arsenal from reporting. Certainly would expect him to come in and be the top earner even if it’s not at the level Isak is aspiring too.

Nunez feels more achievable financially. He's on 140k p/w at Liverpool.

Think there's a decent player in there and if he wasn't currently at Liverpool I'd make him a top target

Liverpool taking Isak for a British club record then pity dumping Nunez on us would be one of the biggest public cuckings of all time.

But we don't know what Arsenal were looking to pay him or what he was after. Can't find the info anywhere?!

If we were linked with Isak today the thread would be full of ‘he’s only scored six league goals last season, he’s not proven, why are we paying £63m for him?’

If Sesko is who Howe wants, I’m confident he’s the right player

The excitement was off the scale when this actually happened.

Not seen it reported other than seemingly he’s on €100k now, so you’d think he’ll be looking for close to double that - so certainly above our top earners.

That would be nowhere close to what they're saying Isak is asking for though. Can we not just wait and see what happens on this?
