He was genuinely good in the Man United game. And I do feel like he's been coming off his line a bit more / a bit quicker.

But he's never going to be a keeper that can rescue us and he's a completely liability on set pieces, corners, and crosses.

Great at everything a modern goalkeeper needs to be great at , except stopping the ball going in the net

And commanding his area, or even his 6 yard box for that matter.

He's far from the biggest culprit but when a player is 1 on 1 with him he seems to just shrink and a goal seems inevitable, seems decent enough at shots which come from a bit of a distance

Obviously the 1 on 1 situations are caused by the outfield players but would be nice to have a keeper that has a bit of a presence and can actually save some of those

I don't want him here. He doesn't calm our back 4 down, if anything we look far more erratic when he does play. There really isn't that much improvement between him and Pope. We need to look abroad for a good keeper - so I fully expect us to sign him.

I think there is a lot to like about Ramsdale ‘at the back’ for us. He was exposed by the rest of the defence yesterday, but he also seemed too slow to react for a couple of the goals. Maybe just my disappointment at the time, but I am sure the coaching set up will review avoidable/soft goals and this may lead to changes.

Still think we go for Trafford as well.

I thought he was absolutely shite yesterday.  Glued to his line which makes the 1-1's easy for the attackers and so many small errors throughout the game, at this level we need a huge upgrade on what we have at GK.

His save % is abysmal. He's also paid a good wage. Can't justify shelling out for him to sit on our bench imo and he's not good enough to be a starter for us either.

He always seems to make a movement which leaves a huge area of the goal exposed. Nothing that obvious immediately, but it happens in a lot of goals we concede where you think he had no chance but then watching the replay you think, why did he dive out of the way?

Yeah, he's very trigger happy.

he moves around too much on his goal line before he even knows where the ball is going.

Nailed it. This is another big reason as to why he looks even smaller than he is, which isn't particularly tall for a GK.

Trafford just seems like we are paying a premium for the player we hope he can be.
