Please can we remove the NSFW pic from this thread - I get that its not real but someone not looking closely can easily mistake the image for porn and there are no NSfW tags in this thread

Can’t see it personally. Anyone paying over £45m is getting fleeced based on the fact he’s definitely leaving and they need to shift him. He’s not in high demand as they’ve been hawking him the whole window and made it clear his time there was done when they got both Pedro and Delap

They don't need to shift him, he's got a long contract and his amortization is very small. They can kick the can and send him on loan. 

 

They are in such a strong position for this sale.

From PSR purposes was he done before the 5 year max period came into effect? Also, aren’t there limitations on the number of players you can loan out now?

They renewed it too and the initial fee was what 30m? Either way it's really not impactful for them in terms of cost. Our owners donated them 100m as well already :lol: plus they got 60m for bomb squad members nobody has ever heard of plus another 50m for our owners for Felix. 

 

They are pissing themselves man.

I have had a second thought last night. I can go with 50m, at this moment. 
 

1. He actually fits in Howe’s requirement quite well, a very good pressing forward and hardworking on the pitch.

 

2. At this moment of time, we need to sort the ST position asap and move on to other areas. It’s like a deadlock - once we break it, the other things will probably go much smoother than now.

 

Just do it, if it’s really 50m. Than go sign a CB and CM asap. We can still save our season

If they get more than £50m it will be because of his age and numbers. I don't rate him personally, but when you look at what you are paying these days then £50-60m is not an outrageous fee for a player with his attributes who MIGHT still improve.

I really dont get why were turning our nose up at Jackson and some think Strand Larsen is a better option.

 

Yes Jackson is no Isak (then who is atm) but theres definetly talent in there along with the lunacy...if hes good enough for Bayern Munich to be looking at i think it would be arrogant of us not to consider. 

 

Hes the last player i could see Howe going for, but is a player who would probably massively improve under EH guidance

He’s not my first choice but if he comes I’m good with it. Only issue with him and Wissa it means both at ACON so I think the club may try to avoid that, but who knows.
