True - but i think its harsh to write him off after his time at Man U.

No service and too much responsibility.

Maybe Strand Larsen - but that is probably not realistic at this stage of the window...

Haven't had any credible links with him, even at the relatively low price bandied about.

Which indicates that our new technical datanonce-in-chief, "Suds" Sudarshan, who was responsible for statsnoncing him at Atalanta, hasn't given our scouting team the "we must buy him" klaxon.

I did some Wise-scouting, he looks like he’s strong, fast and has a decent touch. Young enough that there’s a chance he gets a lot better. Let’s spend £50m on him to develop behind Wissa.

They wouldn’t accept a penny less than £80m I don’t think. Personally I’d pay it up front before he develops anymore but you’re talking to the man who bought two tomahawks for absolutely no reason whilst a bit pissed last night so what the fuck do I know about financial responsibility🤷🏼‍♂️

Yikes. Tomahawk missiles are about $2million a pop. That's a nasty bank statement to wake up to this morning

Haven’t seen one, and if the quoted price is true he looks like a fucking colossal risk to me.  I’ve zero faith in goalscoring exploits in Portugal for starters.

Have any of them actually succeeded in the PL? Going all the way back to Kezman, they all seem to flop

I think the price is so high because they feel he has a very high ceiling. Not the finished article yet, but could turn into the next Drogba if he develops. But why anyone would pay top whack for him now, I'm not sure. I mean he could just as easily not turn into Drogba and just be a powerful striker who is a bit hit and miss.

Massive risk.

Not one we’ll take , imo.

I'd be very happy to get him in, I think he's an exciting prospect. But for £80m he'd need to be one of the best prospects in the world, and he seems a long way off the Ekitike/Sesko tier. His touch is still a bit iffy for a start.

In terms of centre forwards, I can’t think of one - even everyone’s favourite Champ Man 97/98 CF Mario Jardel who scored a gajillion goals in Portugal looked like a carthorse in his short spell at Bolton.
