Can't help feeling he's a bit too much like Woltemade, we could really do with someone with more speed, so we have options to change things up during games.

Because he's tall?  They are very different players in terms of style

Isn't this what big Nick is? I know Nick is obviously more than that but he seems to be able to hold up play from what I saw. Do we need another guy doing that?

Especially at 65m 130m on two strikers is kinda nuts tbh.

I think Strand Larsen looks a much better target than Wotemade, and I would hope the idea is we can play them together - the formation yesterday suggests we would in anycase.

Lot of pressure on Nick if we don't bring a guaranteed goalscorer in and there's only really Wissa and Larsen left who we can be 'sure' to bag them.

It's a pointless argument as it means nothing really but in my opinion, peak Wilson before all the injuries caught up with him over the last few years is by far the superior player to Strand Larsen.

My preferred preference is Isak stays and plays again. But I realise the reality of that happening is very slim. Therefore if it's Larsen or Wissa instead of no one then unfortunately it looks like we will be over paying for one of them.

It could make our play very predictable, with no options to mix it up during a match potentially, at least that's how it seems to me.

They may both be target men, but one drops deep, the other is much more direct.  We already have insane pace with Gordon and Elanga.  I understand the logic of a big man/little man combo in terms of strikers, but I think having two players who can work in the same system but with slightly different styles can be just as useful

Tell me you know nothing about Woltemade, without telling me you know nothing about Woltemade. He’s about as far from being a target man as you can get

Tall = target man

Short = Craig Bellamy type

The thought of us lining up like below will probably have Martin Mark rock hard.

                        Pope

 Tino   Thiaw   Burn   Botman   Hall

         Bruno   Tonali   Joelinton

              Larsen Woltemade

Aye, it'll be especially class that when we're sending in corner after corner that wouldn't trouble Warwick Davis defending as first man.

Lost count of how many of our corners hit the first man last night. Was very poor.

Said the same, its almost unforgivable that a professional footballer who is paid to kick a football, can't kick it over the first man.... every time

My worry with bringing Larsen in alongside Woltemade is we will not really have any players that won't to get in behind. Outside of Elanga who else is there to attack space? I could be wrong but isn't Larsen a more penalty box poacher?

Not excusing them but watched a thing with declan rice and what most footballers are looking for at a corner now is to just beat that front man and into that area
