Pearljam10
It's madness if we sell Isak for £120M and buy Wissa or JSL for £65M.
Yorkie
£65m is just a "fuck off." Fair enough, guess they're confident he can knuckle down.
r0cafella
Big nick and Jsl plus Bruno bdb and schar would be the world's slowest spine.

The College Dropout
I do think the injury is legit btw. An ankle injury has been a discussion for weeks.

The original stance was “the club would always do what’s best for Newcastle united”. Spending £65m+ on either of these isn’t ticking that box for me. We can moan about PSR, but if we sold Isak and effectively spent more on signing two strikers in one of these guys and Woltemade, we can’t be moaning again in future. midds
£65m for Wissa is an absurd number but I don't blame them, the window is about to close and the price for their striker is now astronomical - we need to take a leaf out of their book. Isak's price needs to be going up, not down
andycap
It all depends how good brentford are with psr. I still reckon they'll drop the price come deadline day.

Sibierski
They sold Norgaard and Mbeumo for big gains, then all the compo for Frank. They’re in a strong position.

[Internal monologue]: Don't fucking do it, don't you fucking go there again. [Me]: Did you miss the part where all of our most sensible investments were lost to the cartel clubs earlier in the window? And the part where our artificial limits prevent us from paying Isak the wage he is due? And the part where our specific PSR position requires us to buy with as much certainty as possible; i.e. Premier League-ready players? It's the whole reason we're in the position of chasing over-priced players in the first place, if Woltemade is even over-priced, (who knows at this point). Ashley17
If JSL leaves Wolves now I would be surprised if the manager stays much longer. Do wonder if it’s partly him giving himself an easy out as they appear to be somewhat lacking so far this season.
