Sunderland are the only club I’d want to beat more. Anyone who bangs on about wanting to beat Liverpool more because they have wankers who follow them on Twitter has a floppy cock. I was at all the PL matches until the last one on here - I’m in the 4-3 video from Boxing Day 2001; still one of my favourite away days (the atmosphere was absolutely electric and vicious - precisely as it should be v Leeds) Don't hate them as much as you do, but I do think the PL is a better place with Leeds in it. Precisely because the atmosphere is vicious. That's how it should be, it's what makes the PL the most popular football league in the world.
Decky
Dunno why people are so negative about this, Leeds haven't looked great since coming up. Ramsey and Miley replacing Joelinton and Tonali is still more than enough to beat them. Hopefully we'll have our new striker in too.

Shithole that it is, Elland Road gives them something extra - especially at this point in the season. We’ll have Osula or nobody up front and Miley is still a long way off being up to it. I get why there isn’t an avalanche of optimism. In theory we should win but football doesn’t work like that.
Gallowgate Toon
Might need to consider a change of shape here. I think you need to get Osula in (obvs, there's also nobody else) after scoring but I just can't see him going toe-to-toe as a lone striker in a tough environment. Plus, Leeds are going to go for it as that's their way.
Sibierski
4 from opening 9 points is par of what you’d expect if going for top 4, so it’s important we win. Especially giving situation all summer, 4 points going international break where we can regroup would be massive. A win, any way is important. STM
I feel like Eddie might go with Elanga up front and bring Murphy in. I think in this type of game Ramsey for Joelinton might be a strength, as they are different types of player. Miley for Tonali is a downgrade but I think Miley is potentially class, so at some point hes got to prove it. Thiaw for Schar is the biggest worry and id be tempted by Botman. AyeDubbleYoo
I think he almost has to play Osula, would be a massive blow to the lad if he’s not used after scoring and being the only fit striker.

It's not like Elanga is going to inspire much confidence as a striker through the middle either. It just wouldn't be worth spurning Osula for someone who doesn't even play the position. huss9
hope Elland Rd this weekend has the same effect on our season that the Shelvey game did.

STM
I actually think Miley will play the deeper role. Howe seems to be drip feeding him that position.

Toon1984
If we play like we have so far, we win this one. But no Tonali makes that difficult.
