The thread about "how do we challenge" well I think it's very simple (albeit difficult to pull off)

Find more (or develop the ones here) players who can consistently take advantage of how much space he creates just by existing.

This is a title winning striker with the right support.

In the highlight reel I posted in the last attack where he threads it though for Willock he then bursts forward to join the attack, he looks pretty rapid for a big man or am I imaging it?

His sprinting style is a bit like watching a stretched Almiron the way he bobs his head and legs not fully doing what his mind wants them to do. Like most tall guys, he is faster than he looks for sure.

Is he not running at about the same pace as Burn during that counter?

@janpawel When he plays the pass Burn is already sprinting, when he starts sprinting Burn is about four metres ahead but he’s catching him rapidly as we get close to the Spurs goal. Looks a lot quicker than Burn to me.

Watching the highlights, the chance he makes for Barnes is brilliant. Escapes two defenders, rapidly plays a precise and dangerous ball. Deserved a goal.

That reel is full of great highlights, what a player looks to be.

That was sublime. I appreciate Barnes is, generally, a finisher but that shot had to go across the keeper and it was in.

Would've been a contender.

The highlight right at the end is the best of the lot. Nods it back to Tonali to relieve pressure and retain possession. Gets it straight back, turns and plays a through ball that takes about 3-4 Spurs players out the game.

Pirlo would have been happy with that pass.

Have had his song stuck in my head for a few days now but can’t work out if it’s him or Howe who says “wow, fuck of Isak you’re a daft c*nt now”

(It’s bit like whether it’s the farmer or the dog that’s called Bingo)
