Remember when the Bayern president essentially said that Stuttgart had our pants down over the fee we paid for him.

:tino:

He’ll be less than delighted when we quote him double what we paid when the arrogant Munich shitbags inevitably come sniffing about. The horrible bent cunt that he is.

I’m glad he got a goal yesterday, he’s been a few games without one, and although that’s not really an issue because of his work rate etc, once the media get ahold of it, it could have just been pressure onto him that he could do without.

When you watch that goal again, the state of Everton’s back line…….dear me. How do let a CF jog forward with no one near him. Right down the middle too.
We’d be spitting feathers.

Supposedly there cbs were in our box for a long throw in, and never got back at all. That's why he's in acres of space.

Finishing & dribbling, probably not, everything else, absolutely.

Isak is a more instinctive striker and positionally more dangerous, but I'm not 100% sure he's a better finisher, especially when given the time to think about a chance.

Glad that it was us getting a chipped goal rather than being on a receiving end for once. My memory of our current and past keepers getting dinked stretches quite a lot.

Big Nick's 1st touch is immense. A thing I hated about our previous main striker was that he frequently had a heavy touch. Also, he would usually hit the 1st defender with a simple past that would have set another of our players free. Big Nick put Elanga through before the 1st goal and Willock in the 2nd half, two harder passes that the rat would have failed to get pass the 2st defender.

That post match interview with him and Thiaw. Smittan. Probably my favourite player and is ridiculously quickly becoming a legend already. That’s the biggest compliment I can give him. HE is best friend material like

Isak is at the very top at his best, but Woltemade wins hard on stamina and availability, which is massive for us. Last season we allways had to worry about whether Isak was fit or not, as that had such a huge impact on our form. It was really annoying.

When it comes to which skillsets that Woltemade excels on compared to Isak, I'd say playmaker attributes, strength and headers.

He missed loads when he was 1v1 with the keeper, went for dinks  that went wide or dwelt on the ball and lost the opportunity to shoot. Like you say he was better when shooting without thinking too much.

Woltemade’s hold up play is way better as well, we complained in many match threads about Isaknot being involved in the build up or being able to hold the ball. In saying that he did great for us overall just sad the way it ended.
