However, he's struggled to attack the box of late and can't possibly develop, as per Isak. In fairness to everyone involved, Howe and the coaching staff didn’t have time to accommodate him or plan for him and he’s done really well with some of his contributions to date. I dare say neither would be delighted if this is how his NUFC career panned out in the long term though in respect of how he fits and the team functions in the final third. He is a technical stiker who’s still massively a development project to us who needs to improve his movement and killer instinct. He has played very little first team football but we paid huge sum for him so we need him to perform for us when chances come his way. (Right or wrong) and he is a good lad who likely will tell the press the same thing. all that being said he’s done brilliantly for us in all comps to get us where we are.
