that Chelsea game still annoys me, they may have been the better team on balance of play but they also should've had 2 red cards

Can only remember Caicedo's red card tackle in the opening minutes but with no VAR nothing happened. Trippier poor header back to Dubs and they equalised and won it on penalties. Pisser.

                Ramsdale

Krafth - Schär - Botman - Burn

     Tonali - Miley - Ramsey

     Elanga - Osula - Barnes

looks right.

Ideally Burn needs a rest but no other options comes to mind?

Schär + Thiaw or Schär + Lascelles

Botman could probably use a rest as well

We cant have Krafth and Lascelles in the back 4. Id have neither personally. I know its a big work load but weve got Hall and Tino back soonish and defenders can genuinely play more games.

If we were playing a poorer side, then yes but if we get knocked out the carabao cup because we went to weak, we would be annoyed with ourselves.

I think Krafth maybe comes in for Trippier. As I do genuinely think based on his time here. 4 games in 11-12 days or whatever it is. Would be too much for him.

I think we got fairly strong. 4-5 changes. But ones that don’t necessarily weaken the team.

It’s a nice position to be in for a change. Not long ago, our first XI almost picked itself and then you were struggling to find 3-4 good options off the bench.

Barnes, Elanga, Tonali, Ramsey and Ramsdale could come in from the start and it’s not like the team looks much worse off than Sunday, for example.

Also important to protect Trippier as I can see him becoming the whipping boy from the fans again if he gets burnt out and performances drop.

Psyched to see Osula play a full game. Just hope we can keep the ball well enough to get it to him.

If he's really managing an ankle injury, we might not want to risk him for a full game.

Playing through the pain, Eddie been praising him for it.

It's annoying because I really would like to see him get a start. But even a 20 min stint would be good. I know it came off on Saturday but bringing him on in the 89th minute is leaving him a lot to do.

I wish it was as well, I’m watching Ross Noble at Eden Court in Inverness tomorrow night with the Mrs, will be trying to slyly check my phone throughout

Ever seen him live before? He's excellent, you'll have a class time.

He was on a podcast with Lee Herring a few years ago and told some fantastic stories about his time working with Mel Brooks

Think it's on the old YouTube somewhere
