Should be sending him for a dementia check if he starts ahead of either Barnes or Woltemade.

Was about to say that Barnes was going to need to rest sometime, but it isn't like he has played that much this season. Only 950 minutes in total compared to the double of that for Tonali and Bruno if we include club and country.

So yeah, starting with Barnes and Woltemade should not be a hard decision.

think Everton have less of the ball than us, statistically. Given that, could be an idea to have Ramsey in for JL if we’re going to have most of the ball.
If they’re going to largely try to attack us on the counter or in transitions perhaps having players better at passing or carrying successfully through the lines would serve us better?

Not sure Miley is an option in Eddie’s mind so haven’t included him as an option.

Been terrible against them for years now, 3-1 loss.

Not really; mostly dire record against them through the teens (certainly away from home) but W3 D2 L3 since the takeover, so a mixed bag. Trippier FK, Almiron wonderstrike and pummeling them 4-1 at Goodison provides some good memories. Should absolutely have been a home win in 23/24 too, with VAR chalking off a perfectly good goal before Paul Dummett chucked one in for them out of nowhere.

Everton are unpredictable this year. Moyes and some good players, but new stadium vibes means there's something here for us.

Tough one to call. Just dearly fucking hope we don't lose from a winning position again. My heart can't take it. Would almost take a 0-0 ahead of us scoring early.

Green is more of a clash with blue than black and white.

Hope this club gets in the fucking sea.

This. Are we only allowed to play in our away kits when not at SJP or something? Then we’ll wear the home shirt for the derby. When you can easily argue we should be changing.

It'll be a typical measured, passive away performance that we've been used to this season. Understand we have to carefully manage fitness levels and such with the schedule but im still waiting to see a game where we look comfortable enough on the ball to play that type of game, this one most likely wont be it [emoji38]
