Liverpool vs. Newcastle United: 31/1/26 @ 20:00 (TNT Sport)

Same formation.

Bruno in for whoever’s the most knackered of Tonali/Ramsey.

Gordon and Barnes for Willock and Elanga.

Possibly Wissa for Woltemade.

I think I’d probably go with similar but it’s Anfield so they could play their 1974 FA cup final team and still turn us over.

Yep. Just like when we go to Old Trafford

Zero hope of getting anything at all. I'd  give them a 2 nil win and just have the weekend off now if I was in charge

Reckon Gordon’s got the legs on Tommy Smith these days.

Thiaw

Botman

Burn

Hall

Bruno

Ramsey

Barnes

Wissa

Providing the non-CBs who started in Paris are all fit to start again.

Willock, Elanga, Woltemade, Tonali, and Murphy off the bench.

Historic win.

Keegan would switch sides.

No idea how we’ll line up here. Would like to see the formation from last night. As they will hog the ball and are still susceptible to the long ball over the top. Plus they will have a makeshift defence. Unless Konate is back?

Just not sure who would come out. Ramsey for Bruno if he is fit or does Tonali finally get a rest? You’d assume Gordon and Barnes back in. But they were great off the bench once the game was stretched. Wissa for Woltemade?

I don’t think it is hyperbole to suggest that last night has suddenly made us a lot less predictable. In terms of player selection and formation. Used to always feel like we went with same tried and trusted 13-14 players. Rinse and repeat. It’s good to have some options.

Probably be 4-3-3 now and I’m overthinking it.
