Time difference living in the gulf as opposed to UK so late kick offs/cups/CL are border line impossible. Most matches I've actually stayed up to watch have been a bore, our team has looked toothless for the most part. Spending time with my daughter is far more rewarding than being so invested in a team that's simply stopped giving a shite.

Projection?

I think defining it as a 'must win' (beyond the fact that all games are must win) hinges on what our aspirations are now for the season. If the goal is still to finish in the top five, it's a must win, because we're already seven points adrift of that. If the goal is to qualify for one of the Europa positions, then it's a must-not-lose. I wouldn't take a point but it's probably not the end of the world. If Europa is the realistic target then we just need to stay in the mix until the run-in.

It’s a must win if we want top 7. Based on their fixtures, we need to beat these and Bournemouth at home to get top 7. Unless we go and pick up some away points which isn’t happening.

I don't think 7th becomes impossible if we draw, like.

We likely need 56 points for 7. This game is one of the easier ones against probably the favourites for top 7

Must win. Could say that about every home game left.

We need 23 points from 14 games. 7 wins and 2 draws and that might still not be enough. Most of the teams we are competing with have both Burnley and Wolves to play.

Im not talking just about the points, but the mood and confidence aswell. We need a solid performance.

What’s affecting our confidence is we don’t have anyone who we know will score. Last year we could rely on Isak we knew he terrified defences.

This year teams don’t really worry about our players

Not impossible but with our performance levels and results away from home this season coupled with the away fixtures we have left, we’re putting enormous pressure on our home games to win.

To be fair, with Brentford, Everton, Man Utd, mackems, Bournemouth, Brighton and West Ham as our remaining home games, you’d be disappointed not to get maximum points from that for a team seriously competing for European places.

Would put us on 54, so CL could become a possibility with just 3 wins away from home between now and the end of the season.

Any slip up at home will increase the pressure to perform away from home to balance it out.

Miley has to play instead of Trippier if he’s available. Trips is not far off costing us a goal a game at the moment sadly.

Thiaw at RB, Botman and Burn CBs if Miley isn't fit. Allow Hall to bomb on in possession leaving three at the back. Bit like the first CL qualification season

We aren't going to win all of those so we will need to get more points on the road from somewhere.

Would start Wissa, he’s been bad but when Wolt starts we have even less goal threat currently. Hard to make a case for us winning this at the minute, but hopefully we can get one.

Is Bruno fit?

An injury update from Eddie Howe ahead of tomorrow's visit of Brentford:

Bruno Guimarães - "Bruno's getting closer. He did a training session on Wednesday when we were travelling. He felt pretty good. So I'll see him today and fingers crossed he'll be fit."

Anthony Gordon: ""No major update on Anthony. Every chance he'll miss this game coming up at the weekend but we hope it's not a serious injury and he'll be back pretty soon."

Lewis Miley: "We'll find out today [on Lewis Miley]. I'm awaiting an update on him but again it's not a serious injury and we hope he'll be back very soon."

6 points against these last season btw.

63 points might not get you Europa League football, definitely not CL. So 3 away wins doesn't do it.

We'll do very well to get 60 points total.
