Decent performance, but we can buy a fucking decent right winger in the summer because both of ours are useless.

A RW, AM and CF and we are cooking imo

Obvious areas where we lack quality

Canny performance, though we didn’t threaten their goal enough for all the possession in the second half. We got worse after the subs for all this place despises Elanga’s guts.

Still a performance that shouldn’t affect momentum. Onto 5 back to back homes and hopefully another run of wins.

Great effort considering the amount of games we've had lately.

Aye wasn’t until the last 7-8 mins until they looked gassed and even then they had a couple of half chances

Plus point for me is that I think Eddie cracked the code there, but didn't quite have the individual performances to make it count.

individual players really rather than performances - hold everything the manager is capable of back.

Considering we travelled 5000 miles midweek and they’ve had a full week off, I’d say we did pretty fucking well there.

Not even just a full week off, they had a piss easy game last weekend. We played fucking Villa.

wonder if we’ll get the favourable decisions in one of these games this season . Absolutely fed up of refs.

We were decent in the game. Right approach, right team selection. Just wish Elanga had had the confidence to play a couple of the opportunities he had. Last season’s Murphy nails that through ball chance he had easily.

We were really good there, could have got something there and would have been well deserved.

Just ran out of impetus really as we just don’t quite have the quality off the bench.

Cup game against these should be a good one.

They're so plastic I can't even muster hatred and I'm filled with hatred for everything. Best of a bad bunch because they've bought all their success and even their fans are soulless cunts. No one has been a City fan for more than 20 years.

Played well tonight though, refreshing not to get a mauling at the Etihad for once. Back five, Gordon, Ramsey, Tonali all excellent, I thought.

I’ve always found his tiki-taka shite to be exactly that.  Have virtually unlimited budgets to sign the best players and then train them to play defensive football in the opposition half.  Modern day catenaccio

Can’t fault the effort there. Just lacked the quality like most of our away games. Apart from our dreadful strikeforce, what’s worrying was how lethargic Murphy looked. Not sure he’s totally recovered from his injury. And that means our right side (which yielded the most assists last season) is painfully toothless
