Newcastle United vs. Manchester United: 4/3/26 @ 20:15 (TNT Sport)

I'm not confident at all

we concede too many goals and they're in their best form since they beat us in the cup final

think things will get worse before they get better

Feels like the league season has completely fizzled out after Saturday. Just can't see us putting a good enough run together to qualify for Europe so this game feels like a bit of a nothing game.

I am hanging on to that hope that a win against them whilst they are inform may kick start a decent run and then I remind myself of our fixture list!!!

Think we’ll impose ourselves better on this than Everton, we’ll have the edge physically here.

That being said, I’m not convinced we win this at all.

We’d have to put in a massive performance to win. They just need to not be shit and they’ll win.

That’ll be the case for every prem game till the end of the season.

Still not sure how good these are, feel like Carrick is just having a daft run that is never going to be sustainable long term similar to when Ole at the wheel first took over. We have owned these the last few seasons at home but we look a far cry from that team now.

Not sure if its been pointed out but top 9 could get europe if Villa finish between 6-9th and win Europa they get champions league right? then another of the big boys wins the fa cup.  Wouldn't be too confident of even that at this stage but still plenty to play for.

i expected us to beat everton.

and i expect us to beat this lot.

ridiculous, i know.

I knew we wouldn't beat Everton.

While I think it will be easier against Man U, I still think a win is asking a bit much.

Funny enough, most of the lads I've spoken to are anticipating a defeat in this one.

Yeah no shit you're talking to us. Slick motherfucker.

Funny old game this football, not two weeks ago we'd turned the corner [emoji38]

Indeed. Life is fickle. Not too long before that, Woltemade was the next coming of Shearer.

I truly believe Nick will turn it around if given the chance. I'm not as confident about this season turning around though - at least not enough to matter for Europe. Too many dogshit losses along the way.

This is the one game a season you can count on us turning up for under Howe. Will be deeply concerned if we see a shite performance.

I’m excited to see how this season can kick us in the nuts yet further.

Defeat? Probably.

Concede goal to failed transfer target? You bet.

Start well in big home game, lose following totally avoidable mistake? Sounds likely.

Terrible referee performance or late goal? Why not both eh

Not scared of these, we can win.

Gordon and big Joe to score, they love the ‘big’ teams, like.

Gordon loves Liverpool a bit too much...
