The quality of 'football' I've seen this season in the PL has on the whole been absolutely atrocious. I actually think the top level of the game might be at an all time low in terms of entertainment value and quality of player across the board, which is all the more amazing when you think that the level of interest is undoubtedly at its highest ever. Thought we played well, come on here to see people saying 'utter shite' and stuff like that! Not a great performance by any means but we were the better side against the team that is going to win the league or finish runner-up. Looked at the xG to see if I've somehow completely miswatched the game, but no, we won that 0.9 to 0.6. Loads to work on still but that was an acceptable performance for me. I don't think you'll realistically get a better chance to win at the Emirates than that and we didn't lay a glove on them. In recent years I feel we have a chance against them but today it felt like we're a pre takeover version of ourselves taking on one of the good teams that wasn't playing well.
