Guest gggg
TORRES IS NOT AS LAUGHABLE AS PEOPLE MAY THINK... Yes what a step up we'd be for one of the most talented youngsters in world football. Someone's just reminded me of Antonio Cassano who seems to have totally dissapeared, seems like a typical Big Sam signing and there's no way he'll stay at Madrid. His talent is unquestionable but maybe one Joey Barton is enough in terms of attitude.
Guest mishka17
i would sign (or try): W. Bridge L. Baines C. Cacapa W. Brown S. Wright-Phillips (if we sell Dyer) K. Nolan

Newcastle are similar to Atletico in that they are a big club who have underachieved - he has got legendary status there - he may want the same challenge - if he does well, he certainly would be idolised by the Toon faithful. That said - it probably is doubtful, we can all but dream I guess...
Guest gggg
Aye that's what i mean, I'm sure if he leaves Athletico he'll want to further his career and win things, not move sideways. He won't be short of offers either. If he want's legendary status then he can stay at the club he supports like Shearer did here, he has no connection with us. SteveMc
Appiah would be an immense signing. I'd like us to go for Salcaido (sp?) the Mexican left back from PSV. Looks a top player.

SteveMc
He might have release clause. Though I could forsee a couple of issues with his loyalty payment.
hakka
I can't see City letting anymore players go with the size of their squad never mind their best player true, can't see City letting him leave either unless money was silly. Would be strong pairing Dunne and Taylor though.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
I'd take anyone that Sam feels he's done his homework on, tbh. Can't expect "big names" to arrive until (if!) we're playing champions league football so for me if Sam feels he's getting a grafter with the ability to cut it in the Prem, he has my backing. We know where the weaknesses are, and Sam should know if the players he's after are better than what we have.

Experianced and rarely makes hideous mistakes, would be hard to prise from Man City though.
