  1. Past hour
  2. I think there's a huge difference in going for Premier League proven players on £200,000 a week rather than spending £70m+ on players from foreign leagues and giving them £300,000 a week. But that's just me. I don't know how anyone could look at signings like Cunha and Mbeumo and suggest they're not good for us, but people will find a way.
  3. Id probably agree but I can see why they’d want a keeper who is good with their feet. It’s definitely going to be a balancing act to cover all these positions.
  4. Him and his agent must have some idea ? I can't imagine in this day and age he wants to play for Man Utd because he loves the club.
  5. The signings they are making though at least should be useable under a new manager come November. Better off signing these then some shite from Portuguese league that Amorim would want.
  6. For all talk of not repeating the same mistakes it looks like they are overtly and publicly pursuing whichever flavour of the month (or season) target they have set their heart on and will end up vastly overpaying to avoid looking stupid.
  7. Apparently the defence was that the emails were factually incorrect, out of context and misinterpreted 🤷🏻‍♂️

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Anderson is four years older than Miley. He wasn't anywhere near the first team when he was 19, and was instead on loan in league two. Your comparison doesn't make sense.

    James Trafford

I would sooner keep Pope and upgrade CB, CM, RW, ST as priorities.
  10. Rod

    James Trafford

Pope is massively underrated on this forum. Always has been. He's a great goalkeeper!
  11. Sublime passes from Bruno and Nuno Mendes for the winner.
  12. Today
  13. No, Manchester United fans were saying the reports of any fee or wages were false because we haven't submitted a bid yet or had an agreement with the player.
  14. Me too, but in a different way with Jennifer Love Hewitt. Almost 30 years ago now, which is why I misremembered as it was Neutrogena.
  15. Miley should have started in the middle last game of the season instead of changing the whole formation due to 1 man being out, after being trusted in CL games the previous season can see why he’d be frustrated.
  16. I’d be quite surprised if Eddie went from not wanting to loan Miley out to outright selling him unless our opinion of him has changed.
  17. Dunno if he will but Delap needs to play. He's very much "work in progress". Forgetting financials and age profiles, on current ability alone, I'd expect Mateta or Wissa to score more for them. Chelsea need Delap to step up and as a CL club, they can't wait long for that to happen. Before joining Chelsea, Nkunku was Bundesliga Player of the Season. I don't know if thats a Bundesliga thing, a Chelsea thing, or an injury thing, but they're now going with a player from a relegated club. I dunno if he deserves it, I don't watch Chelsea, but there could well be a player still in there if someone can get it out. This is not Jadon Sancho who's had 5000 Premier League minutes. Nkunku's only had 11 starts.
  18. Fair. I’d rather not lose him, personally.
  19. But but muhh..squad hierarchy
  20. On another note, I wonder how much Dibling would be? His profile is very similar to Tino and Hall, obviously price would be the biggest factor.
  21. That's a terrible deal. We don't need the immediate 30m we are in ok PSR shape we just can't get everything done this window imo. If he has the potential both us and the club believe he has, he will be worth a lot more than 30m so selling him for such a fee makes no sense. As we've qualified for the champions league again I expect our revenue for this coming season to be 400m, we are making very good progress.
  22. Aye definitely. He's almost as bad as that Sean Casey they used to have on there spouting pure made-up bollocks about transfers
  23. As annoying as it would be to lose him, you can’t say no to 30m pure profit for someone’s who’s years away from being a full-time starter. It’s a sad indictment of modern prem football (PSr era) that even the idea of slowly nurturing a local academy product to become a first team regular and potential star is considered financially irresponsible. *sigh*
  24. He knows nought. Everything he's saying about us is pure conjecture. I mean he's a no mark journalist who is going on like he has sources around the world yet he writes for "Tbr football" formally tribal football which is more inaccurate than team talk
  25. Just been listening to that smoggy fucka Graeme Bailey on Loaded Mag and he was saying Mbeumo wanted to come here but we wouldn't go up to 60m. Reckons he only come out and said he wanted Man U once he knew we wouldn't pay the required amount. Probs just talking shite as usual though
