  1. Past hour
  2. Chelsea maintain full trust in Petrovic, Sanchez, Jorgensen and Penders* *after they couldn't agree a fee for a new keeper.
  3. Key quote imo. Leaves a fairly small pool of potential candidates.
  4. Chelsea not willing to meet the price? Hope someone’s doing a psychiatric assessment with Todd as something’s gone wrong there
  5. A Gk position is very different to the others though. If we sign him, he’ll be our starting goalkeeper very early into the season
  6. The club knows the budget, I'm sure everything is well calculated. No need for us fans to stress about these details
  7. I don't normally listen to their show but Geordie Journos said the deal was done last season, fee all agreed, and then our PSR debacle stopped it. They brought it up as defence for the Mitchell comment using some variant of "not fit for purpose" about our transfer policy. I hope the fee hasn't gone up too much. If he wants to start, he'll have to earn it, but the above comment makes him sound very mature. Just on sweeping, but Pope doing it and Dubs not doing it suggests its a combination of Pope's ability and recognition of that from Howe. If all our keepers did it, you could claim it was just manager policy/tolerance of risk.
  8. Trafford would be a very encouraging start to the window IMO. Capable of changing how we play and means that GK in theory sorted for a while.
  9. We know the drill, Eddie won’t use him until he fully trusts him OR the glimpses we see are irrefutable. Like Bruno, we could all see the quality, yet he had him on the bench for best part of a month, maybe more.
  10. Agree it’s a 10 year vision rather than a temporary stop gap.
  11. Pope is far too good to be a number 2, mind. Keeping him and getting him to believe in the competition aspect between him and Trafford would be more impressive than signing Trafford in the first place.
  12. Can’t imagine Pope being a number two, feels very unlikely. But if we keep them both happy, brilliant.
  13. Yes. As good as Pope is he’s getting on, and if you look at his shoulder funny it pops out. I’d prefer him and Trafford compete like.
  14. A decade ago if I saw something appear on the yellow ticker I’d be running the transfer bath. Now if it’s reported on SSN first I treat it with a massive pinch of salt.
  15. People had same thoughts when we signed Livramento and Hall, that it was ignoring key upgrades in favour of less vital positions. But it didn't take long to very much see the vision. This will very much be the same.
  16. Fake passport for Fabian Schar Change his name to Frank Smith
  17. If he was the guy who signed Shelvey and Wood from us. Then no thanks.
  18. We do wear an armband, might not be that one though.
  19. Well whatever it is, setting 10 has never damaged even the snidiest of DHgate shirts before. People should try that one
