Not that we didn’t already know but certainly makes a lot of sense of his poor spell at that time. Would be hard for most people to deal with
-
Sorry, I meant bad is in no where near as good as the originals they were trying to copy

Best partnership I’ve seen up there!
-
Course they did the disclosure the PL would have been forced into was unprecedented. This was worse than the Man City case for them, it was from a third party Mash Holdings and would have been played out in public, exposing them and the clubs pulling their strings blocking the takeover.

I spent my early teens in London and went Durham uni - I'd swap Newcastle for London every day of the week, but everyone is different. London is mentally draining. I don't buy this "you can enjoy a hidden life" in London either.

Lewis Hall says hi.
-
Most useful way to deploy Rashford is to not sign him and hope Manchester have to keep him.
-
Complete bollocks this story.
-
Alan Smith? Nicky Butt? Celestine Babayaro? Damien Duff? I'm just proving the point here.

No cast-offs from Man Utd, please. Have we signed anyone from Man Utd and Chelsea in the last 30 years that has actually done well for us? I can't think of one. Maybe Danny Simpson, at a push.
-
Rondon and Kenedy playing up front. What year is this?
-
Having a world cup in our Jupiter ass weather fuck off.
-
Another left winger to add to Barnes and Gordon. Not many players make less sense for us than Rashford.
-
Rashford is a fascinating player and I’d be very curious to see what Howe could do with him. But it feels like he’s cooked at this point, too.
-
'At odds' - probably because if we were interested, we'd need Man Utd to sub us half his weekly salary to even consider it
-
No, the point is that buying the club isn’t an investment in the club. I don’t miss the Ashley years - no-one does. Those of us who around for the McKeag years don’t miss those either, but I didn’t assess Hall or Ashley in the context of McKeag. Newcastle United has pretty much always been owned by people who I’d rather didn’t. You think that the people who own us are wonderful - I don’t. But I’ve no major concerns at present re the direction of the club, though I do think that the continued inertia at board level has been papered over by Howe’s management of the team.
-
What happened in the 16 years after perhaps? I could have guessed you’d missed those the way you go on about the new owners without any awareness of what preceded them.
-
Counting the four Saudi clubs as a bigger priority, each no less. I’ve heard it all now
-
They didn't specify so maybe we're at odds with ourselves over the deal. I would be.
-
Lovely goal from the fizzy drinks lads. Pity, Pachuca were looking the better team until the last five minutes. Pretty well matched game.
-
Fantastic finish from Salzburg, perhaps against the run of play?
-
Was it v. Cardiff that he looked like Ali Dia incarnate?
