If you flip that bottom line round to 7 wins, 4 draws and 3 losses, which doesn't feel unlikely, then we would have finished second only four points behind Liverpool. That's is the obvious area of improvement. I feel like playing Tonali centrally has already improved our performances against these sorts of teams as the gap and recovery pace between defence and midfield caused us big problems in some of those games. Find a way to sort that and continue as we are in other games then we will have a great season.

Yes I am. I used to work for one of the worlds leading camera manufacturers My point was taking any pics, 360 or otherwise, in an airport security area is a strange thing to do. There’s even signs up saying it’s not permitted

I don't know how the PSR cycle works but I guess if we got all of our top targets we could maybe overspend this summer and then not spend the following?

We’re signing him because he’s very highly rated for his age and we’ve scouted him extensively. He plays on the left but is right footed and has great close control and dribbling ability on his right foot -

Could be a mentality thing as well TBF. The middle teams are surprisingly hard to beat and have the tools to hurt you if you don’t play well. So you may play below your level and they might be able to take points of you if they play well. They also raise their game against you. Since we don't play possession football, we also don't really grind down these teams like Man City can. Maybe less so next season if they all sell their best players. -

What's this guy's goal scoring record like? Any idea why we're signing him beyond some 'youngest player' milestones? -
For reference. The competent but unambitious middle third is where we struggle. 5 wins, 5 losses and 2 draws against the top 7. 12 wins and no reply against the bottom 6. 3 wins, 4 draws and 7 losses against the middle 7.

I forgot about him. True story, Dunfermline were once apparently very close to singing Diego Maradona jr, but we missed out on him due to not agreeing on image rights. He's obviously a pretty average player, but the PR alone would have raised the club's profile with him attached. Loads of fans with Maradona on their Pars shirts would have been super cool. I think we tried to sign an ageing Ronny Whelan too (and Phil Babb). It still hurts to think of Waddle in a F*lkirk strip. C*nts.

Although I was against it I quite enjoyed it. Guess it helped us that season giving us a bit of a rest as our press was relentless that year despite our small squad. Football in sill hot temperatures is bonkers.

I forgot he even existed. I wonder if anyone reminded Liam Delap about his existence...
