I didn't think he'd done it enough for it to be 'a thing' - but he has a little bit, so maybe that is the angle.
-
Doesn't sound like it. Player doesn't fancy it.
-
Going for Wilson and Elanga feels proper de ja vu of Freedman and Guehi last summer
-
Headbutt guy not getting invited back then
-
Probably just overthinking it.
-
Fofana (Lyon) to Forest.....
-
I don't get it though. He's not Gazza, where the joke would be how incongruous it is to see him with a book, but nor is he always banging on about reading books (unless he is- is he?), so I am trying to understand the angle. I've probably missed something

Yeah buts how’s the bacon?

That's the one cheat code the PL actually did block (Infinite Athletic)

Homage to Joey Barton. Next he’ll be quoting Aristotle whilst stabbing Paul Van Hecke in the face with a snapped corner flag pole.

“Without going into the individual situation here, we've tried to sign several players,” Howe admitted when asked about putting sole focus on signing one player in Guehi. “It's never been about one player. It can never be about one player, because as soon as you're in that position, then your negotiation strength is over.” “So, no, we've tried for several targets, but it still has to be the right player though. And there isn't an unlimited number of players. It's not like you can, well, we'll just go on to the next one, the next one, the next one. Because then the quality dilutes and then you have to question whether you're doing the right thing for the long-term future of the club. "There isn't a bottomless pit of money. We're not able to spend that way. Everything that we do has a long-term consequence. So you've got to be very sure whatever you do is right for the long-term future and short-term future of the club.” When asked what the ‘right player’ is for Newcastle, Howe added: “The right player is multi-factored, really. “It's the right age, the right deal as in transfer fee, the right wages, then the right player to actually come into your squad, the right positional need. “There's loads of things. If one of those things is not right, especially financially for us, it puts us in a difficult situation." That’s what Howe said last summer and it’s very telling. Certainly explains why we get so hyper focused on certain players.

Who is your role model? "Me in a year's time" Alright Jake Humphries.
-
It's that famous self-help motivational classic, "Plato's Republic." He's translating it from the original Greek for the lass sat next to him.
-
Sky Sports bringing back Sunday Supplement. Can only think that Ornstein and Winter are the only two worth listening to if they are picked. Paddy Barclay was good too (RIP). All the others seem to be so far up their own arses.
-
No, we lose out Pedro because we ain’t willing to pay 55m+5m. That’s what concern me most - I don’t think that’s a crazy price.

What's the joke with AG reading a book?
-
Yet never wore the number before joining Newcastle.

Surely it was this lad?

“Tojo, General Tojo, General Tojo, Tojo’s got no limits…”
-
It’s all cool. As long as we lock away his “General Yamashita’s black and white army flag” for the upcoming visit to Singapore, we should be golden.
