Think that's in the same interview but that clip looks like itss from Manchster United's season video so only showing what suits. I'll have that interview on that nights Sportsnight on tape somewhere but cant access it at the moment. The only lying down that happened in that title race was in favour of Man United - Boro we know about and Forest's keeper against them a few days later I remember infuriating me at the time, could have been biased eyes.

He's sort of their SBR really.. if Peter Reid is Keegan

I like Gullit but the level of lies about his Newcastle time is criminal. 1. Said shearer was getting old when he had him (shearer was 29) 2. Said he wanted Shearer to do different things but couldn't specifically say what 3. Said it was a miracle we got to a cup final, despite being there the year before and being recent title challengers before that 4. Claimed he never managed Duncan Ferguson 5. Never mentioned the actual important part in that we couldn't win games of football 6. Lastly, he claims he was right because we were relegated shortly after.

Hell of a lot of groundwork going in ahead of the soon to be incoming "didn't want to get promoted anyway marra" thread

If anyone does decide on getting the Number 1 just make sure it has 'Slatyford' on the front as some of them only go to Buddle Road and turn around there which still leaves a canny walk along Armstrong Road (It'll have 'Buddle Rd' on the front instead)
-
Cheers mate. Thought it might take a while like. Made the mistake of getting on it a few years ago instead of the usual Arriva or Go North East buses and it must have taken a good 45 mins to get into town that day and it's well past there.
-
Gonçalo Ignacio would probably be the better option on the basis he can play LB too - Hell sign Wilfred Singo too who can play both positions on the other side

Reply #193 If a gulf state took over and pledged a huge war chest,I would love Keanno back.Sometimes managers and players are just the right fit at certain clubs. What, no human rights concerns or blood money? Imagine getting taken over by an oil rich state and then wanting "Keano" back.

We never got to see what Bruno was doing in that working mens club last year.....
-
Aye it is. It'll take about an hour though.
-
Doesn't seem to win his headers. Pass.

The no1 bus must go everywhere like, sure I used to get that mofo from Shielfield to Benwell đŸ˜‚

@Shadow Puppets is this close enough to copy and paste into all my WhatsApp groups and claim I'm ITKAF?
-
Fucking MLF fans, eh? What they like?
-
Someone take one for the team and force their way into the Irish Centre. They're filming something in there.
-
Match it with a Tynemouth Surf Co sponsorship and we could be cooking.

I think so, it happened after that whole Cardiff City bollocks or around that time, when the owner wanted to change the name, badge, nickname and shirt colours. They may well have already done some fan studies/research. But if they really wanted to keep it a secret then no doubt those involved would be legally sworn to silence.

Isn't the badge/crest one of those things they have to consult the fans about? There was that charter thing a while ago but I can't remember what was on it exactly. On the current crest - I like it, mostly because it's actually based on the city crest which I think is quite special and presumably quite uncommon.

Went the other week when they played Redcar. Crowd was 700 odd I think and I got parked up easily enough obviously the road that runs past the ground but probably going to be well over double that tomorrow. For people mentioning the number 1 bus is that the same number 1 (Stagecoach) that runs down Coach Lane/Benfield Road? Half tempted to go tomorrow and I can walk along to Coach Lane in 10 mins.

The one with the castle and the magpie I like. Not as fond of the one with the letters but can imagine they'll go with that one, since it's all about simple and I guess digital friendly badges/logos these days.
-
We've had a few badge changes over the last 60 years so I don't think it's a big deal for most fans. I would think the club will make a sensible decision about it and at the very least have some sort of discussion with various fan groups and what not before rolling it out.

Out of the three midfielders he's the one you'd prefer be missing but equally he's so instrumental to us it's going to be a big loss regardless. Thankfully there's not many games left and maybe it won't matter, we can only hope.
