  2. Honestly so many on here need to stop using twitter etc. it's absolute garbage most of the content around football especially during close season.

They are building that new pedestrian bridge, but in all honesty it’s pretty much 6 and 2 3’s in terms of quickness if you go over the Town bridge instead. The big test will come when all the building work on that side of the river starts. It’s going to be years of everything around it being demolished, and replacement buildings being built. How many people will fancy being there? How many bands and acts are going to happy having all the background noise drowned out their voices? Also how many fans are going to be happy going into it after Sunderland have just been smashed and it’s pissing down with rain and the realities of being promoted hit them instead of them being happy grabbing last minute winners in the Championship? Whilst all that work is going on, somewhere else in the city centre will open up and become more popular. As it happens, I hope it’s a success. There will be plenty of independent businesses ran by people who have put everything into them needing it to be successful. Sunderland needs them to be a success over dingy pubs serving watered down Carling with Wee Philly rolling out his latest Chubby Brown impression.
  4. The whole situation has demonstrated that there can be value in us (intentionally) looking to sell young players we truly rate with an attached buy back clause. It can make men out of them.
  5. He got plenty of minutes in his last season for us, and would’ve got even more if he didn’t get injured. Probably would’ve ended up around 2000 minutes which would’ve been some going for a breakout season in Prem. Think there’s a valid argument he would’ve been pushing Joelinton to take his starting spot. Howe clearly rated him by how much he was played before and post injury.
  6. I don’t think Howe thinks he has that luxury. Could he afford to give Anderson 15 games ahead of Longstaff waiting for Anderson to get in gear? I consider Hall a higher ceiling player and it needed everyone else getting injured for him to get a 5 game run. Those 5 games he never looked back after that.
  7. Elliot has always been good, been saying it for a while. Like his output in the championship at his age was elite, and Klopp always turned to him as the main man off the bench. Slot just weirdly doesn’t want him which will be a bad move by Liverpool but he’s got the power now.
  8. 4 Seven HD, whatever the fuck that is? Channel 163 on Sky Stream if that helps

It’s decent tbf, but don’t know how well it’ll do in long run as a bit of a trek apart from when something on at the ‘stadium’. Most the units weren’t even open last time I was there, which admittedly was a weekday in half term but still seemed a bit short sighted.
  10. What sky channel is this on?! Google is shit!
  11. Even more likely now, Germany 2-0 up
  12. Do you not think he lacked the backbone and desire for the main job though? If he’d pushed himself for it he might have got it. I get the feeling he was happy to just step back into a lower pressure job.
  13. I feel dirty for saying this, but the current Germany shirt is pretty lush isn’t it? looks like it’s who'll we'll be facing in the final if the first 10 minutes is anything to go by too
  14. Germany looking decent going forward. 1-0 up from Weiper

It’s just shite content regurgitation. They have fuck all to talk about so they’re just scraping the barrel with no insights or reflections on the game. It’s just Talksport for dummies which is really saying something

  17. Who watches this shite ? Regularly I mean. Two know nothing muppets who say "he's worth 100 million, no he's worth "130 million. Really ? Really". A lot of opposition football supporters have a disconnect between Ashley era Newcastle United and current era Newcastle United. The days of us taking even fair market value are over, let alone below fair market value. If you want our best players who have plenty of time on their contracts you must bid a sum that the richest club in the world would consider. The PSR issues aren't as pressing as last year. We must be persuaded to sell those players. Is £100 or £130 million going to persuade us to sell Isak ? Is it fuck.

  20. I haven't listened to that Podcast so no idea whether those quotes are genuine.
  21. I was dismissed for recommending him earlier in the summer. Liverpool not likely to sell now.
  22. Agree, leave shit like that on the shelf for Everton alike
