It is a decent carpet like
-
Oh aye, I'm getting that like.
-
you know it’s bad when the fuckin carpet looks better than the kit
-
Why not Gyokeres? Take this guy out of here please!

If Howe wants a midfielder ahead of a GK then we'll sign one. I'm not convinced you are on the same page as Howe though.

Can’t gamble on Joelinton, Tonali and Bruno being fully fit and sharp for 60 games. Not even + JP. We need another genuine option even if proper backup. Willock is done here. Howe doesn’t trust him or Longstaff. -
Worth a punt I reckon, I feel similarly about Ben Doak (sp) at Liverpool. He seemed to be the next big thing, now appears to be out in the cold!

I still find it puzzling, being able to agree personal terms with a player before agreeing a fee with is club. Used to be tapping up, didn't it? Would Burnley have still had to give us permission to approach his reps/him, or are 'illegal approaches' and such like not frowned upon anymore? Same with Mbuemo who's seemingly agreed terms with Man Utd, yet they still haven't met the price/terms for Brentford to let him go.

For a team like Crystal Palace, aye.

I remember Edwards telling us to brace ourselves for a summer of Isak bullshit... I think he undercooked that message 🤣

He carried on playing a lot through pain iirc. I am assuming given some rest he will have recovered fully and should be good to go a full campaign this time. We did abuse his willingness to play through the pain barrier IMO.

Quick general query, does agreeing personal terms with a side bind a player in any way? E.g. if Trafford agrees with us is he also able to agree personal terms with another club or multiple other clubs? I would imagine so but it does seem the case that almost all the time when someone agrees personal terms with a club they go to that club if a fee is agreed

He’s still our best at carrying the ball when considering both strength and pace. Hopefully this season will be his redemption arc.

Big if, hasn’t played well for 2 seasons.

Good watch! Thought it was interesting that he spent 8 months specifically training his left foot shooting Seems like a very intelligent and hard-working lad. -
Not a rumour, just a thought. Bobby Clark has had a tough time at Salzburg. Was signed by a manager who was sacked in 6 months. He's 20 years old and, formerly at least, considered a future wonderkid. He's also likely to want to jump at the chance at coming back here because hes rumoured at being unhappy. He's also a midfielder and wouldn't cost alot. I think they only paid 10m for him. If anyone can get his potential out of him its Howe. At the very least, he'd get some value back in him.

Yeah. He was poor last season though. But if he regained the form before his injuries he was a brilliant ball carrying mf
