  2. Kieran Trippier. One of the best signings the club has ever made. Some proper world class performances during his time here. Instrumental in keeping us up from January of our first season. The best right back I have seen at the club (since late 80's) and has lifted a trophy for us. From the limited info I have heard good in the dressing room and at top pro. Had a sticky patch but still put some serious performances in last season. Would imagine a wealth of knowledge for Tino and Hall. I know the forum is fun but the above should really be where it ends for us. I really hope he is ok even if some of the things he is doing aren't right (I don't know whether this is right or not but often people doing bad things can be in a bad place and we all need compassion and understanding sometimes and none of us know what is, isn't or has or hasn't gone on) I for one am sorry I criticised his drip. Trippier has given me some great footballing memories. Love the lad.
  3. Yep, the fact they're spending £116m on someone unproven in the PL means any starting point for Isak should be about £130m

See the pitch forks are out for a single photograph
  5. Going off when he was linked with Liverpool there was talk of £70 million plus.
  6. 😂. £150m just to get to the table.
  7. Signing Brighton's scouting and recruitment staff would be the best Brighton signing. Van Hecke is absolute class, he's like a more physical version of Schar, seems more solid defensively as well. But, to be spending that much on a center back we need one with pace, and he doesn't have it.
  8. Watching Germany U19's v England U19's It was 5-1 to Germany ten minutes ago, now it's 5-5
  9. On his YouTube. Liverpools number 1 target believe a deal is there possibly but difficult
  10. Wrong again. Apple were in negotiations for a 1bn USD broadcasting deal at the time that was written, and after that fell through another tender was opened, which DAZN, a British streaming network, won in December 2024 for roughly the same amount of investment. PIF invested in that company in February 2025 and as said, the long term partnership with Fifa was announced two weeks ago. The timeline completely contradicts your theory: both the prize money and the broadcasting deal were wrapped up before PIF even got involved. And in any case, as I keep pointing out: PIF is an investment fund. They invest in companies, it’s what they do. Why are you so concerned with their other investments when it’s blatantly obvious they’re doing a brilliant job as our owners so far?

If our recruitment was as efficient as the best in field there'd always be a silver lining. Seems as though the Executive level hasn't been functioning well for a while. The Staveley situation, we get Ashworth in. I assumed the idea was Ashworth was going to set up the system outside first team management. Scouting, analysis, youth level coaching, have it all streamlined as working towards making the squad as strong as possible and as cost effective as possible to make sure PSR is as little a hinderance as possible. What the hell happened at the top these last few years.

Even some of the decent mackems I know had ftm on their recent flags for Wembley. Certainly don’t see any moral high ground for them after they smashed up/failed to stop all the race rioting in their city last summer.
  13. He'd be a great signing, but way out of our price bracket.
  14. Where? 😂. Been on his twitter and there’s nothing of the sort.
  15. Did Ivan Campo play for Bolton that day? (I was there - sitting in East Stand) Jussi Jaskilienen will have been in goal for them - Kevin Nolan may have played too.
  16. That thread is hilarious ! Comfort blanket all over the place.

He’s quality, hiis passing is great. Would be very expensive I imagine. Doubt it.
  18. I had Boehly down more as The Collector from Marvel. As his Wiki states: The Collector realized he would need a hobby to maintain his own sanity, and began collecting interesting artifacts and creatures from around the universe. Eventually, his obsession reached such heights he collected anything he considered rare or valuable often just for the sake of collecting.
  19. What a load of utter shit that is, no chance
  20. Van Hecke any good ? Looked very slow every time I’ve watched him, admittedly not a lot.
  21. Getting ridiculous this, they need to just leave the lad alone, his life’s already been ruined
  22. Cartel mouth piece Romano stirring the Isak to Liverpool story
